Meh.... 57.5 Kgs x5 Overhead Press (The Sephist Method 🤟🏻)

Another off day with the OHP... had sub-par sleep today, and I didn't get to train until later than usual, so everything felt a little out of whack.
I decided to try a different approach to doing the movement, that I was inspired by seeing a fellow iron warrior called Sephist perform ever so nicely. Due to all of the aforementioned factors, and trying out this new approach, this was a pretty sub-par set, balance was all over the place, and my bracing wasn't on point today. Interesting approach, but after some thought, I don't know if it is for me. I may try and do a different method that I have done before, as that feels more natural to me.
I am getting pretty sick and tired of having sub-par days with OHP, to be honest. I have been thinking about actually taking a hiatus from the movement together, in terms of higher weight rep work, and focusing on Squat, Bench, and Deadlift, and then perhaps specializing solely in OHP down the line, or doing a different sort of approach/program to doing OHP altogether. The constant significant fluctuations in performance, especially when going for higher reps is really frustrating me, and to be honest, it is making me not enjoy doing it anymore. I will complete this cycle, and then make a decision from there.
