Many people try to put Jesus in a box. They say Jesus was humility and love which is true, but he was also unconventional. He hung out with sinners, chastised the Pharisees (who were the religious rulers of the day), and got angry with the money grubbers taking advantage of churchgoers at the synagogue and tossed their tables and money to the ground. He came with a plan. The plan was not to live according to the culture of that time, but to start a movement. A movement back to God. Justice. Our world is in dire need of it today. Did you know that one of God's attributes is justice? Yes, God is loving and compassionate - extending grace and mercy to us. He is patient. But only for a time. The Bible tells us that a day is coming when God will judge the entire world for it's wickedness. God will pour out His wrath on an unsuspecting people. We are all guilty of sin and unworthy of heaven. But we can escape that wrath and be a part of God's kingdom by living for Christ. Christ paid the price for our sins and gives us a way to escape the wrath to come. If you don't know Christ, ask Him to save you. God's judgement is coming. I was staying in Florida when a friend was in the hospital. I was worried about him and praying. God knows what we're going through. And He's always there. No matter the outcome.
