Still in the middle of chapter 2- our creepy materia obsessed friend has made a return (stalker mode enabled). He gave the party tasks that feel more like sidequests, so I'm thinking (at least as I start) to jump back onto the main storyline and push forward.

Taking a break from playing LaTale to dive back into the world of Final Fantasy 7. Rushed past a bunch of sidequests and discovered the importance of saving regularly. Now, picking up where I left off with Barrett and Red XIII for a boss fight. Lost this one twice, and off-stream went ahead and grinded out two additional levels for the duo to make it easier (hopefully).

Killed a fish, and ended up going astray from the main storyline. Not the worst trade-off, as leveling makes a huge difference in the game. Also, found the remake of the strategy game from the original - so obviously had to follow that route a bit. Obviously. Going to continue where part 4 leaves off ....

At the end of part 5, I had finish rounding up all the extra objectives around the region - mainly in the hopes to gain a level or two.

Alright, left off right before the big inauguration parade. Trump is about to be crowned President of Shinra. Let's move out!

Fresh off the boat as Champion of Queen's Blood - and ready to hit the beach.

Seriously... This beach area is kind of 'meh.' But - I'm just about (hopefully) done with it.

Last time on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth playthrough : Zack's scenario turned out to be 5 seconds long - why even make walking downstairs to open a door 'playable?' Shortly after we found ourselves working through a mine and into Barrett's hometown. Happy reunions all around, and then... The Golden Saucer. Let's go have fun at the amusement park.

Okay- I'm in the middle of wandering about the Golden Saucer with Tifa. Not sure, probably going to spend way too much time farming GP- so be hyped for that.

Last time on -Dragon Ball Rebirth - The gang's been locked up - and threated with rape! Can Cloud rescue his pals? He'll need a chocobo - and a fast on at that. Godspeed Blondie.

We wrapped up Barret's backstory - turns out he's a kidnapper. As a result of our good deeds, we got a free car - and now it's time to get to drving

We are suppose to head to a forest - I think - but I got distracted with doing the region objectives (for party level) and then went to Golden Saucer to see if I missed anything. Turns out - the battle arena was a great place to grind. But, grinding is boring - so full disclosure - I went ahead and did some grinding between the last part and this - upto level 40 - so consider that bit skipped for the stream. Going to start by doing more region objectives... Lets get to it.

We completed our regional tasks! Mind numbing back and forth travelling is behind us. Now we enter 'the forest' and continue the story.

Part 16 got wild. Starting with Barret Getting a new gun from an obsessed fatty - finding the jungle town of 'Gongaga' that had gone gaga - then heading off to the local closed down reactor to run into Yuffie's favorite Shinra employee. Then Cloud nearly killed Tifa. Then a fish ate Tifa. Then the fish spit her back out! Seriously, what did that fish taste? The mind wanders, we all do. What is it about Tifa that doesn't taste right. Anyway - the crew was discussing visiting the home of Red XIII. Are we going today? At the pace of the game, that's a maybe...

We hit a jungle wall last time- and I was unbelievably irritated by Red XIII and his chicken obsession. While I was desperate to move on with the story - the game just wasn't having it. Instead I wasted 45 minutes wandering around, until finally succumbing to the regional tasks... of which I didn't quite finish. So joyous day for you - lets continue...

Cosmo Canyon. I recall taming a bird here - long ago... on the last stream. What adventures await in the home of Red XIII?
