Episode 525: God reveals the only way humans can worship Him. Part 2

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we come to the heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ and all the scriptures.

Who is God? What is God like? What is God doing? Why is God doing it?

Basically, the revelation of the One True and Living God. This topic is the lynch pin of the scriptures whereby every other word spoke in the scriptures hinges.

Without the knowledge of God there is know salvation. Without understanding who God is and what He has accomplished in and through His Son, Christ Jesus the Lord and King of glory, there is no salvation.

The scriptures makes it clear that God is (a) Spirit. What does that mean? Well, in order to understand that we must allow the scriptures to define "Spirit" for us.

John 4:21-24
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

The scriptures also declares that God Himself in Spirit is actively seeking humans to worship Him as God. Whom does God seek and what type of people does God seek?

Good question. We find out in today's study.
