Episode 523: The believer must die to enter heaven Part 2

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we discover how the believer is taken out of Satan's kingdom and placed into Christ's kingdom.

What process does God use the make this a reality in the sinner's life? The process is called a metamorphosis which is better known by the biblical phrase "born again".

For most, being born again simply means a change in lifestyle or behavior modification. It's a lifestyle filled with all sorts of religious activities and moral character. This has become the substitute for the new birth or being born again.

Is that acceptable to God? Of course not! The Lord God has already declared what is acceptable to Himself for salvation and will never accept an alternative.

Many people will die in their sins and be casted into outer darkness into the lake of fire burning with brimstone where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Why? Because they will not have done to them the one thing that is necessary to enter heaven which is Christ.

What is the one thing required? To be created again by God.

God has said “Behold, all souls are Mine;
The soul of the father
As well as the soul of the son is Mine;
The soul who sins shall die...The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself." Ezekiel 18:4, 19

The believer must die, be buried, and raised from the dead! God declares it this way: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him," Romans 6:1-8

Have you died and been raised in Christ? Are you a new creation sitting in heaven inside of Jesus Christ?
Ephesians 2:4-6
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,"

Today's study is 1 hour and 4 minutes in duration. I have broken it into two segments. This is segment 2 of 2 titled The believer must die to enter heaven. Part 2
