Biochemist Gabriele Segalla explains that the lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) of the Pfizer/BioNTech jabs contain the ingredient ALC-0315. These positively charged particles are essential: without them, the LNPs cannot be made.. BioNTech filed for a patent in 2013, which was granted and published on Nov 26, 2019. In addition, if you add a buffer solution to these particles, they will become unstable (technical term: decreased Zeta potential) and form larger particles.
