One of the most unfortunate things about the internet is that it has made it extremely easy for people to ruin others' fun and hurt them remotely. I'm getting very tired of this, personally, and wanted to talk a little bit about it. Call of Duty hackers have been a known problem for a long time now. On PC, this is even worse, as it can be an outright security risk to your machine and private information. On console, it's mainly just a silly nuisance that makes the people doing it look idiotic. A new exploit is being widely reported online that these mod tools can permanently ban Xbox accounts if you are in a party chat. Basically, someone can come into the party and mass report your account, or do one of several other things to it, that renders it useless. The CEO of Take-Two has come out with a statement defending the price point of the Red Dead Redemption port and it lines up perfectly with what Rockstar games has been doing for a while under Take-Two's leadership. Rockstar games went from the pinnacle of video game development studios to a group that is now synonymous with greed and microtransactions. How did this happen?
