How Putin Almost Won the War in Ukraine
How Putin Almost Won the War in Ukraine
Vladimir Putin was sure that Russia would win the war in Ukraine within days by capturing Kyiv. Then he was sure Russia would be victorious by laying siege to cities around the country. Now he appears to be sure that Russia can hold southern Ukraine long enough for conscripts, supplies, and reinforcements to reach his forces before a Ukrainian offensive can break his lines. At the beginning of the war, Putin was close to winning. With every day that passes, Putin is coming closer and closer to losing.

Putin's Doomsday Submarine Was Detected in Arctic
Putin's Doomsday Submarine Was Detected in Arctic
Putin's Doomsday Submarine Was Detected. PUTIN HIMSELF HASN’T BEEN SEEN ON TV for quite a while now, and what better place for him to hide than in an eternally frozen wasteland, armed with nuclear missiles?
An enormous nuclear submarine poses a real threat in the ocean. You could have no idea that it is floating beneath you, and yet it carries a thermonuclear weapon that could destroy an entire continent!
Quiet and inconspicuous, it can lie on the seafloor for a whole year, waiting for the order to strike!
You would think that such a deadly weapon would be banned, but recent events suggest otherwise:
Not long ago, a Russian doomsday submarine was spotted in the Arctic. It surfaced in the middle of the ice, stayed in that position for several hours, and then dived back down. What’s interesting is that Putin himself hasn’t been seen on TV for quite a while now, and what better place for him to hide than in an eternally frozen wasteland, armed with nuclear missiles?

US Stryker Has ATTACKED Russian Troops In Ukraine
US Stryker Has ATTACKED Russian Troops In Ukraine
We can see the power of military technology on full display in Ukraine with the arrival of the 105-mm, self-propelled M1128 Stryker guns that the United States sent over in their latest aid package.
As soon as the Stryker was in the hands of the military, it immediately gained fame and recognition!
It happened in the eastern portion of the country, in the Bakhmut region between the villages of Opytne and Ivangrad, where the enemy was trying to launch an offensive. Most of the allied troops at the time had abandoned their position in advance at the captain’s command. However, a small detachment stayed behind, including infantry, a large-caliber howitzer, and one M1128 vehicle.
To everyone’s surprise, the enemy suddenly went on the attack, but they didn’t know there was a Stryker.

Finally US Fighter Jet With Laser GUN Is Ready For Action
Finally US Fighter Jet With Laser GUN Is Ready For Action
A fighter is truly a powerful weapon in the hands of a skilled pilot.
And today, their power has reached a cosmic level!
Combat aircraft already have laser weapons that can split even the thickest armor, plus super-powerful defense systems that can handle any threat, and that’s just the beginning of their awesomeness! In the past, pilots were already saying that their planes felt like an extension of their bodies, but now, that contact is even closer...
Now the fighters can release drones that create electromagnetic waves. There is no viable defense against them, because they disable all electronics.
There are also kamikaze drones that can unleash a hail of armor-piercing shaped charges down on the enemy!
The technology of maneuverable ammunition flying around in the stratosphere cost tens of billions of dollars, but it was worth it, because now even satellites can be destroyed!

US SECRET Airplane Was Spotted by Sailors Over the Pacific Ocean
US SECRET Airplane Was Spotted by Sailors Over the Pacific Ocean.
No one can find out the Pentagon’s secrets. At least, that’s the conventional wisdom. But every now and then, people become witnesses to strange phenomena associated with secret military facilities.
For example, relatively recently, a fishing vessel sailing across the Pacific Ocean towards Vancouver noticed an unidentified object in the sky that looked like an oddly-shaped aircraft. But the object didn’t move at all like a typical aircraft, and at one point it simply disappeared into thin air.
The fishermen immediately posted about the encounter online, and the story became widespread enough that the Pentagon must have gotten a bit nervous.

US Air Force eyes NGAD deliveries by 2030. Can it be done?
US Air Force eyes NGAD deliveries by 2030. Can it be done?
The U.S. Air Force’s secretive, next-generation fighter platform is still in the design process and has not formally entered its engineering, manufacturing and development stage, the service’s secretary said this month.
The acknowledgment marks a step back from June, when Frank Kendall publicly said the highly classified Next Generation Air Dominance program had already hit the key milestone. “We have now started on the EMD program to do the development aircraft that we’re going to take into production,” he said during a Heritage Foundation event at the time.
It also has some experts wondering if the service can meet its goal of delivering the first iterations of the sixth-generation fighter by the end of this decade.

Iran stole Sweden's nuclear technology
Iran stole Sweden's nuclear technology.
Swedish intelligence accuses Iran of trying to steal nuclear technology.
'Swedish Annual Security Report 2021' slams Iran's espionage and nuclear industries amid - what could happen - final part of nuclear deal negotiations
While all international attention is focused on the negotiating tug-of-war between Washington and Tehran - to reactivate the 2015 nuclear pact - Swedish intelligence, through a report, has denounced the Persian Islamic Republic's attempts to get its hands on the Scandinavian country's nuclear weapons technology. The 80-page document, entitled 'Swedish Annual Security Report' for 2021, revealed that "Iran also conducts industrial espionage operations, such as those aimed primarily at the Swedish high-tech industry and Swedish products, which can be used in nuclear weapons programmes".
This was made public on Monday by the US news network Fox News, which also consulted a spokesman for the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO, Swedish acronym for "security police"). At present, "Iran is one of the three countries that pose the greatest threat to the security of Sweden and Swedish interests. The other two are Russia and China," it said.
"Iranian intelligence officers operate, among other ways, under diplomatic cover in Sweden," the report warned of one of the strategies that the Ayatollahs' regime is allegedly employing to get its hands on nuclear information. But this is not a new issue for the Scandinavian government.

Congress is pushing the Department of Defense to decide on sending Gray Eagle drones to Ukraine.
A bipartisan group of lawmakers is pushing the Pentagon to speed up a months-long review aimed at determining whether the United States should send the MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone to Ukraine.
Seventeen Democrats and Republicans in the House on Thursday sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, urging him to speed up an ongoing risk assessment to determine whether transferring the technology poses a risk if it falls into Russian hands.

China’s J-20 Stealth Fighter: A Threat Or A Flying ‘Paper Tiger’?
China’s J-20 Stealth Fighter: A Threat Or A Flying ‘Paper Tiger’?
Industry analysts and military experts have long debated the true threat Beijing’s premiere J-20 stealth jet actually poses to existing fifth-generation fighters. Last week, the head of the U.S. Air Forces in the Pacific (PACAF) told reporters that the J-20 is not “anything to lose a lot of sleep over,” indicating his assessment that China’s “Mighty Dragon” is not as formidable as Beijing would like to portray. However, while some aspects of the J-20 have been made public, a lot remains unknown regarding the fighter’s makeup and potential capabilities. Perhaps the mystery surrounding China’s fifth-generation fighter is the Mighty Dragon’s most concerning attribute.
What is the J-20?
Since the early 1980s, the U.S. has retained its status of having the most superior fleet of airframes in the skies. As the only country equipped with fifth-generation stealth fighters, no other air force could compete. The introduction of the Chengdu J-20 fighter – which some consider the globe’s first non-American stealth platform to enter service (some say Russia’s Su-57 is not truly stealth) – altered this reputation. The platform emerged from Beijing’s J-XX program in the 1990s and was officially endorsed by the People’s Liberation Army’s Air Force a decade later. Although the Mighty Dragon officially entered service with the PLAAF in 2017, the airframe only began to serve in considerable numbers by 2018. This year, Beijing has deployed the J-20 throughout the South and East China Seas, suggesting its confidence in the Mighty Dragon’s capabilities.
In August, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the self-governing island of Taiwan. China responded by launching military drills, showcasing its J-20 fighter among other airframes in a not-so-subtle attempt to intimidate the U.S. from advocating for Taiwan. While some of the fighter’s apparent characteristics should be cause for concern, much information regarding the jet’s full power is murky at best.

This is the king of battle tanks from germany! how strong ! Panzerhaubitze 2000
The German Panzerhaubitze 2000 (literally "armored howitzer 2000") or PzH-2000 is the current self-propelled howitzer of the German, Italian, Greek and Dutch armies, and one of the most potent armor system type in the world. It is built by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall, but with a chain supply network which spans Europe. It took its root in the abandoned PzH 155-1 (SP70) NATO program, joint with Italy and the UK in 1986. The program first started in 1973, had numerous defects and was dropped after comparative trials with the M109 which was adopted instead. However, it was decided in the 1990s to give a successor to thisagingg weapons system.
A new Joint Ballistics Memorandum of Understanding for a 52 calibre barrel was passed and the German industry was asked for proposals in accordance of the JBMOU specifications. Wegmann design (merged with Krauss-Maffei in 1998) was chosen in 1996 for the chassis and turret, while Rheinmetall designed the 155 mm 52-calibre JBMOU compliant gun. After trials in the late 1990s, the PzH was ordered (185) for German's rapid reaction force and 410 for the Bundeswehr, before the order was reduced. It was introduced in service in 2000, hence its name. About 345 in all were built to this day (not counting the Italian version), at US$4.5 million apiece. But this can be raised as new customers are interested in the concept, including the US Army in accordance to their tests for a replacement for the M109.

Are the F-22 Raptors retired?
Are the F-22 Raptors retired?
Congress should stop the Air Force from retiring F-22s.
As China looms, the Heritage Foundation's JV Venable argues for saving 33 F-22s from the chopping block.
As the Air Force tries to balance long-term strategy with short-term budgets, it plans to slice some F-22s from the already slender fleet to help pay for next generation platforms. In the below op-ed, however, The Heritage Foundation’s JV Venable argues that’s a mistake the Air Force can’t afford to make in today’s perilous geopolitical environment.
The F-22 Raptor is an amazing aircraft. Its stealth faculties, coupled with its unmatched maneuvering and super cruise capabilities, make it the most dominant air-to-air fighter in the world. Yet, the Air Force wants to retire 33 of these jets because upgrading them would cost money they’d rather use to develop future systems.
It is a false choice, and in the face of growing threats from America’s adversaries, Congress needs to act to stop the retirement.

Will Colombia choose the SAAb Gripen fighter jet or Lockheed Martin's F-16.
Will Colombia choose the SAAb Gripen fighter jet or Lockheed Martin's F-16.
Colombia relaunches plans to buy fighter jets,
Colombian President Gustavo Petro has reactivated the process to acquire new fighter jets to replace the country’s aging Kfir fleet.
Petro’s decision may come as a surprise given his stance earlier this year on the campaign trail, when he said the purchase of combat aircraft or other military hardware would not be a priority during his time in office, if elected.
Military sources in the capital Bogota, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect their careers, told Defense News that the credit for Petro’s U-turn belongs to Gen. Luis Carlos Córdoba, the chief of the Colombian Air Force. They explained that Córdoba convinced Defense Minister Iván Velásquez about the urgent need to replace at least part of the Kfir fleet, which will begin retirements later this year, and Velásquez in turn persuaded the president.
Since 1989, Colombia has acquired 24 Kfir jets, made by Israel Aerospace Industries. To counterbalance the acquisition of Sukhoi Su-32 fighters by Venezuela, Colombia’s Kfir fleet underwent upgrades between 2009 and 2017 performed by IAI’s Lahav Division.
The last upgrade, to the C-60 standard, involved fitting Elta Systems’ ELM-2032 active electronically scanned array radar and a data link as well as integrating Rafael Advanced Defense Systems’ Derby weapon — an air-to-air, beyond-visual-range missile. IAI says that standard is equivalent to the F-16 Block 52.
