Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern gets Christmas Message from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Below
Prime Minister of NZ,
YOU VOTED YES IN THE CANNABIS REFERENDUM – IT IS TIME TO PARDON CANNABIS CONSUMERS
We appreciate that you voted YES in the Cannabis Referendum 2020, and we take this to mean that you do not agree with the current system. Therefore, we ask you the question:
Why are you not speaking out about one of the greatest social catastrophes of our time?
There have been many recent discussions on the subject with programmes on TV1 Guyon Espiner “Wasted” and TV3 “Patrick Gower on All Drugs”. All the interviews and discussions come to the same general conclusions that prohibition of cannabis and other drugs does not work. Even the police are conceding there should be a better way to handle cannabis and other drug use in our communities. That punishment is more damaging on an individual’s life, than taking drugs itself.
You yourself stated that it is a health issue, not a criminal matter. (Law Commission Report 2011)
Why are we continuing to languish in the grip of outdated, expensive, racist, and failed prohibition laws? Our people are still suffering from the ongoing blight of a criminal conviction, which is a well-established fact, closes many doors to a fulfilling and successful life. The US President Biden told the world in his statement to: Pardon cannabis offences, that, “No one should be in jail for just using or possessing marijuana”. He said, “There are thousands of people who have past federal convictions for marijuana possession who may be denied employment, housing, or educational opportunities as a result.” We say the same principles apply to our people here in Aotearoa/New Zealand. In the United States it has also been identified as a racist law and the statistics of arrest confirm the same here in Aotearoa/New Zealand where Māori are arrested at four time the rate of non -Māori. Biden confirms “… penalties have disproportionally affected black and other people of colour”.
We all know that worn out statement “enough is enough” even for the 500,000 cannabis consumers here, who deserve a better life, free from persecution, prosecution resulting in the continuing damage, a cannabis conviction will give a person, the rest of their lives. It is like a continuing punishment that never ends, resulting in intergenerational damage of disfunction in society. (Youth ram raids) Prohibition has created the Black Market, leaving the distribution in the hands of gangs – just as alcohol was controlled by the gangs when it was prohibited creating unsafe situations.
Do people who use cannabis deserve to live like criminals for the act of consuming cannabis? Your answer Prime Minister is obviously NO they do not deserve this treatment, that is why you voted YES in the cannabis referendum. Please follow our wonderful former P.M Helen Clark and finish the job.
OUR CHRISTMAS WISH
That Aotearoa/New Zealand follow the lead of US President Biden and grant a PARDON to all people with cannabis and other minor drug convictions.
That we look at revamping the 1975 Misuse of Drugs Act to be fit for purpose. Focusing on health and not penalising the individual.
We note there has been some vague directives from parliament about ‘that it must be in the public interest’, to arrest someone for drugs, but we also note that it is up to police discretion, which has shown to be inconsistent. The numbers show arrests for cannabis and other drugs is continuing.
How can Cannabis Law reform be less important than the Homosexual, Prostitutes and Gay Marriage Law Reforms? Where people were not convicted by the thousands and a referendum was not required to progress these much-needed social law reforms.
We need a new way forward in the New Year 2023. Why should cannabis consumers and other drug users be treated with less respect than these other groups? Pardoning our citizens for cannabis offences will signal the end of the failed Drug War. The Referendum result should only be a guide, not a block in the highway to cannabis law reform. To continue wasting billions on this futile and discriminatory policy is continuing backward steps when it should be better spent on public housing the most basic human right.
How about coinciding the PARDONS with the New Years Honours List?
What a mind-blowing way to start 2023. To instantly decriminalise thousands of New Zealanders who have their lives blighted with a criminal conviction and live in fear under the Damocles Sword of cannabis prohibition. At least we should decriminalise cannabis and other drug use. It is a very badly needed social remedy at this time. There are intergenerational tears in the fabric of our society that need healing and decriminalising thousands of New Zealanders, many who are disproportionally Māori, will help achieve this goal.
We recommend you consult with Helen Clark a shining light in the darkness of prohibition.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's Speech -NZ Parliament Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party
Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Candidate for the Hamilton West By-election ending 7 pm the 10th December 2022 at the polling booths questions the New Zealand Parliament giving speaking rights to the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. The opposition Parties in Ukraine appear to struggle to exist or get their message across. In New Zealand, the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party was polling approximately 1% and was briefly mentioned in passing on a TVNZ bulletin yet state media Television New Zealand and Radio New Zealand have not yet supplied the photographs of all Candidates participating in the current Hamilton West By-Election.
With regard to President Zelenskyy's speeches, are they written by any Western Handlers including their respective Intelligence Agencies?

Musk fires FBI-linked Twitter executive
Jim Baker was “vetting” the Twitter Files without management knowledge, according to a journalist
Twitter’s top lawyer was “exited” from the company on Tuesday, after revelations that he had been holding up the release of files about the social media platform’s role in 2020 US election censorship. Prior to being hired by Twitter, Jim Baker was general counsel to the FBI, where he was involved with multiple “Russiagate” controversies.
“In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today,” Elon Musk tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly thereafter, journalist Matt Taibbi – who had published the first batch of “Twitter Files” last Friday – revealed that Baker had been involved in “vetting” those documents, and effectively holding up the release of the next batch, without Musk’s knowledge. Bari Weiss, who was to publish the next drop, inquired who was in charge of releasing the documents and received the answer, “Jim Baker.”
“My jaw hit the floor,” Weiss told Taibbi.
Baker was hired in June 2020, as deputy to Vijaya Gadde – one of the first executives Musk sacked upon buying the company in October. The documents released last week showed him playing a major role in censoring the New York Post’s factually correct story about Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
READ MORE: Musk exposes Twitter's suppression of freedom of speech
The Biden White House dismissed the revelations published by Taibbi as a “distraction,” while most major US media outlets insisted it amounted to a “nothingburger.” Commenting on Baker’s name being mentioned, however, legal scholar Jonathan Turley quipped that the lawyer was “fast becoming the Kevin Bacon of the Russian collusion scandals.”
As FBI general, Baker was directly involved in applying for a FISA warrant to spy on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, based on the fictitious “Steele Dossier.” Baker also worked closely with Director James Comey, who leaked the dossier briefing to the press and set up the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel after getting fired by Trump. Democrat operative Michael Sussmann used Baker to have the FBI probe the false claim about a link between Trump and Russia’s Alfa Bank.
Having left the FBI in 2018 under a “Russiagate” cloud, Baker was hired by Brookings, a DC think-tank whose researcher Igor Danchenko had been Steele’s primary sub-source. He eventually ended up at Twitter, aiding the suppression of a story that could have helped Trump get re-elected – and then, according to Taibbi, Weiss and Musk, trying to cover it up.

Laws Interpreted by Judges – Baby Blood Case
Media Statement – 8th December 2022
Peter Wakeman – Hamilton West By-election Candidate for Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party
FREEDOM OF CHOICE – Decisions are made by the court based on the laws that the New Zealand Parliament pass.
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party does not take sides but recognises the right to Freedom of Choice and that we must be wary of dangerous overreach from the State over Individual Rights.
We have all witnessed how wrong the state can be on the matter of cannabis consumption for medicinal and recreational use. Whereby citizens have been persecuted, prosecuted, and criminalised, with their freedoms taken away, as well as being punished, for their beliefs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YLQiypDSYo
We all need to ask the question: Where are we going regarding State intervention on medical matters, in people’s lives, who pays the price, and where is the accountability?

Peter Wakeman Calls out Prime Minister and Other Ministers on the Legalisation of Cannabis
Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern,
Minister of Finance, Grant Robertson
Minister of Police, Chris Hipkins,
Minister of Justice, Kiri Allan,
Minister of Health, Andrew Little,
All Members of Cabinet,
OIA and Request for Law Change for the Legalisation of Cannabis.
Law Change - Give Please More Time for Real Crime – Legalise Cannabis
I refer to the TV1 documentary ‘Wasted’ (Guyon Espiner: Wasted | Full documentary | RNZ - YouTube) is more evidence based than the Parliamentary procrastination on legalising cannabis. Legalising cannabis would allow Police to focus on real crime which is currently getting out of control as poverty, the cost-of-living crisis, the housing crisis, the mental health crisis and some people with addictions thrown into the mix with adverse reactions e.g., from methamphetamine and alcohol which continue to cause deaths and injuries. All these issues continue to increase devastation to our communities. Clearly the current Government policy and laws are not working. We have gone beyond the point of no return.
Why hasn’t the Parliamentary report concerning the Cannabis Control Referendum happened?

An inquiry into the 2020 General Election and Referendums
Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party - New Zealand Parliament (www.parliament.nz)
https://www.parliament.nz/resource/en...
This raises serious questions about our democracy and the way the Cannabis Control Referendum was conducted before taking in to account the Prime Minister advising she was supporting the End of Life Referendum before voting had commenced and only revealed her support on the Cannabis Control Referendum after the last General Election. One can only ask – is it a conscience issue with regard to the legalisation of cannabis when the National Party is in opposition and no issue when they are in Government?
Under the Official Information Act:
1. Did each member of Cabinet and Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, Minister of Finance, Grant Robertson, Minister of Police, Chris Hipkins, Minister of Justice, Kiri Allan, Minister of Health, Andrew Little, see the TV1 documentary 'Wasted' or have any feedback from the Officials about it?
2. What information is available on the status of legalising cannabis and what plans are there to legalise it for each respective department Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, Minister of Finance, Grant Robertson, Minister of Police, Chris Hipkins, Minister of Justice, Kiri Allan, Minister of Health, Andrew Little.
3. What evidence do you have to support the current legislation that has not legalised cannabis with respect to recreational users to say that the law is working?
4. What evidence do you have to suggest the law would work better with the legalisation of cannabis?
5. When is the inquiry into the cannabis referendum going to be made available?
6. What legal advice was sought and given by Crown Law with respect to the legal challenge on the way the Cannabis Control Referendum was conducted and challenged although the legal challenge did not succeed?
7. What additional revenue would be generated with the legalisation of cannabis and what models/documentation do you have on this issue?
8. What studies and correspondence between 1st January 2018 and present do you have on the legalisation of cannabis and/or ways of reducing the power of gang's involvement in drugs?
9. How much more time and resources would the Police have once cannabis is legalised for recreational users?
Please can you take immediate steps to legalise cannabis to reduce the cost of living for those who need it medically and allow the police more time to address real crime.

NZ PM Widen Covid Response Royal Commission - says Peter Wakeman Hamilton West By-election Candidate
Widen covid response terms of reference for the Royal Commission and OIA requests.
I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holiday. While I welcome the concept of a Royal Commission into the covid response, I am of the view your terms of reference need to be widened.
I request you widen your terms of reference for the covid response Royal Commission and request the following under the Official Information Act.
1. The terms of reference for the Royal Commission for the covid response.
2. The advice and reports you had to determine the terms of reference including legal advice.
3. The advice and reports with respect to the persons appointed to the Royal Commission.
4. The advice received with respect to not including the Reserve Bank’s role with respect to the Governor of the NZ Reserve Bank with respect to the Reserve Bank of Australia having interest rates at 0.1%. Did this give an economic advantage to Australian owned banks vs New Zealand owned banks operating in the New Zealand market?
5. With respect to legal cases taking place in the United States of America concerning the American Government restricting/restricted the narrative on social media with respect to treatments and/or adverse effects resulting from covid vaccines. Was this considered or ruled out of the inquiry?
6. What information did the Government hold on the studies that showed high levels of vitamin D’s influence on the prevention and/or recovery of patients with covid-19?
7. How was the vaccination exemption administered scientifically within New Zealand?
8. Given that the New Zealand Reserve Bank is limited to the New Zealand market, why and how has the purchasing of New Zealand bonds operated?
9. What role was New Zealand involved through the Intelligence Agencies or any other way for restricting information online with respect to Covid-19?
10. What information do you hold on inflation with regard to New Zealand’s sanctions on Russia with respect to oil prices and fertiliser prices? Some analysis has suggested the recent limit on purchasing Russian oil will give China a lower cost advantage. What information do you have on this issue? (Russia Launches Big Missile Strike, Ukraine Bakhmut Losses Grow, Scholz Macron Talk Peace - YouTube) From this video he explains that experts suggest China will purchase oil at a lower price.
11. With respect to financial stress and anxiety what steps had been taken to reduce both of those from the 1st of January 2020? (Why You Are In Pain I Dr Gabor Maté - YouTube)
12. What are you currently undertaking to reduce living costs and also increase the stock of housing? What is your current projection of short-fall demand and future supply forecast for the year ending 2023. (It's Edwin's Monday Evening Property Rant! - YouTube) This shows serious issues in getting trades people along with supply and cost increases for new and/or renovating houses in Australia and rapid rises in rents and mortgage costs. This is an extreme crisis that needs to be addressed immediately in New Zealand and Australia.
I am seeking you to increase the terms of reference with respect to the Royal Commissions inquiry into the covid response.
Why was vitamin D not been promoted by the New Zealand Ministry of Health and other health agencies?
The role of housing needs to be included in the terms of reference. Hotel, motel, flat mate situations, renters, landlords and the role of Air BnB taking away housing supply for commercial benefit effecting housing costs and availability. The costs of accommodation separated from but including other expenses of living.
I request you extend the terms of reference to include alleged social media censorship with respect to treatments and/or adverse reactions to the vaccine and/or accountability on how this was done. Along with how the vaccination exemption administered scientifically within New Zealand?
Why and how were Doctors threatened with having to follow Government protocols and the relationship with the Authorities and the scientific evidence and procedures to come to such a conclusion?
Furthermore, I request the terms of reference to include the role of the Reserve Bank of Australia setting interest rates to banks at 0.1% with respect to the Australian owned banks that operate in the New Zealand market and their interactions with their parent bank that operates in the Australian market. With this in mind, how would the NZ Government increase housing supply and accommodation availability not only for covid response but other emergency situations e.g., volcano eruptions, tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, tornados and other significant events as a result of climate change.
You can look at the documentation written by the Ministry of Works concerning how the first Labour Government used money created by the Reserve Bank for housing.

Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Candidate - TV1 Wasted
Radio New Zealand TV1 – Wasted – Guyon Espiner
1 Dec 2022
Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Candidate for the Hamilton West By-election ending at the polling booth at 7pm on the 10th of December welcomes the Documentary How a US President set NZ’s drug laws | RNZ News aired on TV1 last night.
Wakeman personally knows people who have been injured and/or killed from motorists under the influence of alcohol usage. This is before you consider the effects of alcoholics in families and in the community. Wakeman is unaware of anyone who has died from the use of cannabis. The scientific evidence for medical use is well known however there is no science behind the prohibition of cannabis or criminalising those who use it. Wakeman says while some may buy alcohol through regulated means he is unsure why the same does not apply to cannabis as it is already in use in New Zealand. Further statistics in the documentary raise serious questions about people being misinformed.
Wakeman would also welcome media doing better due diligence of Political Candidates or existing Politicians on the legalisation of cannabis subject. We need to stop wasting Police resources on cannabis and target real crime. It is up to the voters of Hamilton West to put it on their agenda to vote for the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party now.

Special votes commence on the 28th of November with election day ending at 7 pm the 10th of December at the polling booths (this is not a postal vote like the recent council elections). Please enrol Enrol or update online | Vote NZ as advised by the Electoral Commission.
Wakeman questions the proposed merger of Radio New Zealand and Television New Zealand. Especially when they have not published photographs of all candidates in the Hamilton West by-election. This raises the question whether we are now experiencing George Orwell’s books – Animal Farm and 1984 simultaneously? Furthermore, in the event TVNZ does an election poll without broadcasting all the Candidates/Parties, is this action not biased by a state broadcaster who is paid for by the people of New Zealand? Does this not undermine democracy? A recent example occurred in the Tauranga by-election when they restricted the debate to three candidates out of twelve. The candidates chosen for the debate was based on the results of their own poll. Thereby restricting the debate of policies and ideas which is the purpose of holding elections in order to select a Party/Candidate that has the best ideas and person for the job. This doesn’t happen when only 25% of the ideas are broadcasted. “Voter turnout for the 2022 Tauranga by-election is estimated to be 40.6% of the 51,510 enrolled prior to election day.” - Tauranga by-election preliminary results | Elections
Therefore the polls that TVNZ and/or others undertake restricts the narrative and reduces the accountability of all people standing for office. This is the only time people get to have a say on who represents them yet the general public has limited knowledge of everyone taking a stand.
When we look at the last election concerning the cannabis referendum, the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party was not on any state broadcaster with respect to media interviews.
Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party has stood in other general elections and by-elections yet has seldom been asked for comment by the state broadcasters. With the legalise cannabis referendum in 2020, the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party was not invited to speak up and educate people on their point of view. Are people’s tax dollars being used to manipulate the voting outcomes?

Big Parties say they are the underdogs, making the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party the favourite?
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will reduce the role of gangs in cannabis distribution and help steer youth away from crime.
Peter Wakeman (non- smoker, retired jet airline pilot) is running in the Hamilton West by-election for the Aotearoa Legalise cannabis Party and says “Despite over 48% voting in the referendum on cannabis wanting action, nothing has happened, even though this figure is higher than the current polling of any political party. Some political parties get their agenda with less than 5% of the party vote from a General Election when they win an electorate seat. They then have gone on to, with less than 5% of the vote, succeeded in getting government to change policy and laws.”
Current laws and policy (or lack of policy) empower the gangs over recreational and otherwise law-abiding cannabis consumers. Affordable medical cannabis is still out of reach for most people.
This is an opportunity to share how the policy of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will solve many problems in our society. Starting with the toughest problems of gangs and the youth lack of respect for rule of law. Youth have been misinformed about cannabis which has put them in danger of not believing credible messages about synthetic substances, P, and other more addictive drugs.
Our policy proposes an R18 regulated system with education, not punishment increasing respect for the law.
The government has lost credibility and there is a feeling of betrayal by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern not telling the public which way she was going to vote in the cannabis referendum, until after the election, when she confirmed she voted yes. National do not even wish to address the issue.
Wakeman was alarmed after speaking with some people in Hamilton West. Many do not like the red or the blue team and do not wish to vote for anybody. An election win for the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will address poverty, homelessness, and youth dysfunction. People are struggling and our systems are worn down. Insufficient planning for increased immigration puts pressure on limited resources including housing leading to shortages and increased rents.
Ending prohibition will save the government money and generate extra tax which must be diverted into health, education, and social welfare systems. Cannabis Law Reform will allow the development of the sustainable Hemp, Medicinal and Recreational industries worth billions and already going strong overseas. New Zealand needs to smarten up and catch up.

Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Cost of Living and Cannabis Restrictions
Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party – Wakeman – Hamilton West by-election candidate
12 November 2022
Cost of living increase has been caused by Labour introducing GST at 10% then National extending the 12.5% to 15% despite former Prime Minister John Key saying there would be no new taxes. Therefore any cost is amplified by the 15% GST unless you are a registered GST business who can claim it back. E.g. Exporters.
Bringing immigrants to New Zealand has increased the demand to housing which has resulted in the increase in rents and increased the amount of money people have to borrow to pay for a house.
Now there is a labour shortage in NZ as some people are leaving to take up jobs that pay higher rates with more affordable housing overseas. We have a social catastrophe with respect to the harm that alcohol and drugs have affected our society. We have a crisis in the number of people who are in and/or waiting for emergency accommodation. Young people below the age of 18 who appear to be fairly knowledgeable on their rights argue that those over 18 are not legally allowed to acquire cannabis without going through the costly procedure to acquire cannabis for health reasons through medical prescriptions. We need laws in New Zealand that mean something, hence the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party wanting an age restriction of R18 placed on legalised cannabis for recreational purposes.
The New Zealand government and the opposition appear to be leaving New Zealand very vulnerable given the New Zealand government and opposition parties considered that “In August 2020, Refining NZ announced that it was considering importing refined fuels, and closing the Marsden Point refining operation”. Have the New Zealand government’s actions of sanctioning Russia contributed to the world-wide fuel price increases, shortages, and fertiliser price increases effecting our ever-increasing cost of living? The government needs to stop digging a hole internationally and start dealing with things locally. This is why it is important to vote for local representation.
We now know the cost of bitumen has increased significantly. Now we have to question whether New Zealand will have sufficient supply given that approximately 15% of NZ’s oil came from Russia which is now going to be doubly-affected by the G7’s actions on restricting the price for Russian fuel which is mentioned in the story below. With boats being anchored while they wait for decisions to be made on insurance clarifications, this may constrict supply considerably.
Given that New Zealand is a nuclear free country why did we have to get involved in a matter than concerns Russia and Ukraine. We are now forced with choosing between two nuclear powers, i.e., Russia and America. Especially when the other nuclear power – China is one of our biggest trading partners. Did we consider that Russia and China are good partners? Is America now taking us very close to nuclear war?
Voting in the Hamilton West by-election with hyper-inflation on the horizon as our New Zealand dollars value has sunk compared to other currencies, our housing crisis with all the flow on issues that result from that with the possibility of a nuclear war wiping us all out. This is a very important time to vote as the current lot in parliament appear oblivious to this very serious situation with respect to beginning to address these issues immediately.

eter Wakeman Challenges Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern Christopher Luxton, National, Act and Greens
Big Parties say they are the underdogs, making the Aotearoa Legalise cannabis Party the Favourite?
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will reduce the role of gangs in cannabis distribution and help steer youth away from crime.
Peter Wakeman (non-smoker, retired jet airline pilot) is running in the Hamilton West by-election for the Aotearoa Legalise cannabis Party and says “Despite over 48% voting in the referendum on cannabis wanting action, nothing has happened, even though this figure is higher than the current polling of any political party. Some political parties get their agenda with less than 5% when they win an electorate seat and have succeeded in getting government to change policy and laws.”
Youth have been misinformed about cannabis which has put them in danger of not believing credible messages about synthetic substances, P, and other more addictive drugs.”
Our policy proposes an R18 regulated system with education not punishment increasing respect for the law”
The government has lost credibility and there is a feeling of betrayal by PM Jacinda Ardern not telling the public which way she was going to vote in the cannabis referendum, until after the election, when she confirmed she voted yes.
New Zealand needs tosmarten up and catch up.

PM not addressing Hamilton West's Cost of Living for the Current Voters in the By-election
Response to the Prime Minister’s Crime Prevention Package.
Hamilton West By-election Candidate for the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party repeats his earlier comments:
Wakeman is of the view that social fabric in New Zealand is disintegrating at an ever-increasing rate. Whether it's from alcohol and/or drugs and/or extreme poverty with so many people under stress that contributes to bad behaviour. This is not a satisfactory environment to raise children in. This applies to both the parents and/or guardians and the children which can have adverse effects to other members of the community. The income levels whether it's wages or benefits are insufficient for survival. Yet the cost of incarcerating people in prison can exceed $100,000 per year per inmate. Putting people in prison does not always solve the problem, especially when children do not have parents or guardians to assist in developing good behavioural skills. To address that, people need affordable housing and to be able to financially meet their living and social needs. I view the model of the government reliance on housing to be failing to filling the needs of people for example, housing that is supplied with meals and activities with social support.
Especially the need for emergency accommodation. I would consider this more desirable than the current model. Providing an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff is the most expensive policy that we have. In short it is not currently a great environment for children to grow up in and be exposed to. With regard to behaviour, people who do not respect other people's boundaries could be caused from being exposed to such behaviour while growing up and not being aware of their anti-social behaviour. I believe with many hundreds of thousands of alcoholics within New Zealand and the people who have other drug issues like methamphetamine (P) cuts across the whole community whether they take it or not.
Workshops for youth that support better behavioural skills which include: Free youth activities with clothing, footwear and food to help cope with the ever-increasing housing and living costs. With marijuana in the community not being legalised it sends a bad message to youth that breaking the law is okay, by legalising it the law would then mean a lot more. Policing little things sends a message to prevent bigger law breakers. I believe that people need affordable housing and to be able to financially meet their living and social needs. I view the model of the government reliance on housing to be failing to filling the needs of people for example, housing that is supplied with meals and activities with social support.
Addressing ram raids with cameras is not solving the problem. Children and teens have to be interested in school and the Italian model of giving people qualifications e.g., a chef prior to leaving school is qualified without getting into student debt is beneficial to everyone in the community. The Prime Minister needs to address our social disintegration now and I believe her announcement today on the 28th of November 2022 has failed to do that.

Chamber of Commerce or Chamber of Restrictions?
The following email was sent to the Chamber of Commerce from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party:
Further to our telephone conversation, please could you attach the following link to your website so any of your members or members of public can see the debate that is already taking place where ALL were invited. It's in the Ballot Hamilton West - YouTube
As a result of your Chief Executive failing to return my telephone calls despite positively engaging with me over the phone previously about attending this evening's meeting, I would request that this matter is referred to the board for the following reasons:
1. Media normally only covers Candidates that attend a public meeting.
2. Your chamber is restricting the debate which is not in the public interest.
3. We want good outcomes for this country and I don't believe your chamber is facilitating the debate by restricting the debate.
Please could you acknowledge that your Chairman and Board of Directors have this email. I would like to engage in written correspondence in this matter with them as I believe your chamber can improve outcomes for New Zealand by being more inclusive.

Peter Wakeman Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party NZ PM?

Media spin or propaganda given New Zealand’s membership of the Five Eyes Spy Network?
Hamilton West By-election Candidate Peter Wakeman from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party made a personal submission as well as the Party making their own submission. His submission included questions of the Electoral review regarding New Zealand’s membership of the Five Eyes Spy Network questioning the effects all types of media has on democracy and media reporting within New Zealand.
Further concerns regarding the role of New Zealand and foreign bodies associated with the Intelligence Service that may affect searches online, removal of content, censorship and/or other matters that I think have been covered in this video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA_ff...
This raises very serious questions about the Media and/or propaganda’s influence on electioneering and/or voting outcomes.

PM’s prevention of Ram Raids? Hamilton West by-election Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Media Release 28 November 2022.
Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister is making an announcement at 3 pm today (28th November 2022) which appears to be too little too late says Peter Wakeman – Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Candidate for the Hamilton West by-election.
It’s in the ballot held a candidates meeting on Thursday the 24th of November in Hamilton West for the by-election ending at 7 pm at the polling booths on the 10th December 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_12i...
The hard questions included what to do about ram raids and Three Waters. The apology from the National Party Candidate for Hamilton West was accepted. The Labour Party Candidate appeared briefly remotely. The only Candidate to stay the course remotely was the Act Party Candidate while the others you will see in the video appeared in person.
The Candidate meeting being conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in Hamilton today did not allow Peter Wakeman from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party to formally address the upcoming meeting. One can only ask the question: Why the only Hamilton West Candidates meeting was not attended in person by both the National and Labour Candidates. Why was their absence not mentioned in the media? Does this mean they believe they are taking the voters of Hamilton West for granted when they fail to show up in person?
Wakeman believes the Election Commission media release of yesterday on Scoop did not state whether the names of the Candidates were being passed on to the voters in Hamilton West which raises serious questions about the process.
Given the media blackout of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party with respect to showing a photograph of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party candidate.
