Does Congress Prefer Sound Bites Over Healthy Debate?
Are Politicians more interested in the sensational sound bite? Have they lost the art of debate and healthy communication altogether? Jerry and Rose are joined by Millennial David Tennent, Founder of Capitol CNCT, a Washington D.C. based company looking to curate the next generation of political leaders in Washington.
David shares the impact a painting had that is hanging in the basement of the capitol building. The painting depicted members of Congress having a debate while the other members listened. This has been lost over the many years since. Now most members go in for 5 minutes deliver their speech and leave. David said he yearns for that world where there was true deliberation and logical debates.
From his opinion piece in CNCT Newsletter: “While a bullet narrowly missed former President Donald Trump, America has been hit head-on with a monumental choice: Will we turn down the heat on our divisive rhetoric? Or, will we let the pot of political hate boil over? As a former Congressional staffer who recently spent three years on the Hill, I have witnessed firsthand the division and self-segregation based on party inside Congress: The ‘us versus them’ mindset torched most opportunities for bipartisan relationships and collaboration became a niche concept.”
Note: As a former Congressional staffer, David realized there was a lack of opportunity for staffers to communicate and collaborate with one another. He founded CNCT in an effort to offer staffers the resources and opportunities necessary to affect change and make a greater impact on the Hill.

Venezuela’s Darkest Hour: Gen Z' Immigrant Shares Frightening Stories...
Gen Z Immigrant from Venezuela, Daniel DiMartino Joins Jerry and Rose:
At just 25 years old Daniel DiMartino, Graduate fellow at the Manhattan Institute, escaped Venezuela and shares the unbelievable story of his family's ordeal and what is currently happening to friends of his still living there. One has been kidnapped for her opposition.
Is Socialism on it's way here in the U.S?
No one expected the opposition’s landslide victory which garnered over 70% of the votes and won every single reporting voting center.
The Venezuelan people want freedom desperately and if they don't obtain it, the U.S. can likely expect a million more refugees, many of whom will show up at the southern border.
This authoritarian government poses a threat to Americans as it plays a key role in drug trafficking and harbors and supports terrorist groups from the Middle East and Latin America.
The Biden administration did nothing to discourage such fraud. Instead, Biden lifted sanctions on Venezuela's regime and released the socialist tyrant's nephews in a prisoner exchange in 2022, as well as his main financier, Alex Saab.

Daniel Di Martino is the founder of the Dissident Project, a graduate fellow at the Manhattan Institute, a PhD candidate in economics at Columbia University, and an immigrant from Venezuela.

Insane Preoccupation With Absurd Things (EV's, etc)
GUEST: Conrad Black, Former owner of The Telegraph, Jerusalem Post, Nationa Post and Chicago Times and Author of; The Political and Strategic History of the World
As the colossal fear-mongering operation that has accompanied the obsessive pre-occupation with climate change is abandoned by former adherents—an operation that strains credulity with the uneventful passage of time—Canada’s commitment to electric vehicles appears more and more absurd. But we seem at least to have spared ourselves the billions committed in the United States to set up new charging stations for road vehicles, which has so far resulted in only a handful being opened.
Meanwhile, many automakers are scaling back their electric vehicle manufacturing plans.

Why Is The DNC Afraid Of RFK Jr?
“Democrats hate RFK Jr” Listen to what more Larry Sharpe, National Organizing Director for the RFK Junior SuperPAC told us::
The Democrats intend to throw him off the ballot. The DNC put out a BILLION dollars into funds to get rid of Bobby Kennedy. 11 lawsuits – he is on the ballots now in those states and the DEMS are sending lawyers and teams in to find miniscule errors to throw him off. (Since this interview last week; NYS Judges are trying to protect their party system when a judge ruled his name should be removed from the NY state ballot. RFK Jr said he filed his appeal and plans to win the case)
The Dems hate him because he is not one of them. Find out why in this episode.
Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Texas. These ten states represent approximately half of the required signatures nationwide. AV24 is embarking on an independent ballot access campaign and stands ready to address all requisite tasks that it may undertake independently and within the bounds of the law, which further solidifies the organization's commitment to ensure Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s path to the White House. This list may change upon additional legal review.
Larry Sharpe is the National Organizing Director for American Values 2024, the RFK Junior SuperPAC. He ran for New York Governor in 2018 as a Libertarian.

PRIVACY ALERT: Every 5 Seconds Microsoft's Recall Takes Screenshots of Your Online Activity
Literally every 5 seconds Microsoft's Recall program takes screenshots of your online activity. Microsoft is selling the recall idea by saying it's all for your convenience and ease of consumer purchasing.
Guest Andrew Riddaugh, CEO of Liberation Technology Services, a non-woke technology service whose company values are solidly based in privacy freedom, and liberty says, "Microsoft is in the middle of a huge PR nightmare. No one trusts #BigTech when they say, 'only you will have access to the data' or 'this is going to help you as a user.'
Riddaugh adds "The true problem is the leaders of these Big Tech companies have not earned the trust of their customers."
"You need to run, not walk, away from Gmail, Search Engines, Chrome. Protect yourself, ditch #bigtech" says Riddaugh. "They are the main reason I started Liberation Technology Services. I saw the manipulation of voters during 2020 by #BigTech. I knew I had to do something to protect our liberties and privacy."

Not Old Enough to Drink -But Old Enough to Rain Destruction on Nazi Germany
Jarred Frederick author (along with John Homan) “Into the Cold Blue joins Jerry and Rose. Concerned that this was a generation that was quickly fading from life into memory. this book is an attempt to present World War II on a more personal level.
Homan: flew 34 combat missions as a 20-year-old co-pilot in d1944.
Ironies of National Service: Not old enough to buy a drink but was entrusted to fly a $300,000 aircraft and rain destruction on nazi Germany.
His war was entirely different from fox hole existence. He saw and overcame horrific things but he could return to base and get a shower - unlike those on the ground.
There were moments that his existence was mixed with barbarity and civility - which made it difficult for him.
One mission in particular stood out; hear the podcast to find out which.
What is it was like to acclimate to society after the war was over. What he wants readers to understand about the effort it was to get the planes off the ground and chip away at Nazi Germany.
"Not every hero carries a rifle, sometimes they carry a wrench."

The Biggest Economic Decline Of Our Lives
Jerry and Rose are joined by Jeffrey Tucker founder/ president of Brownstone Institute & columnist The Epoch Times.
People are not saving right now – they’re not cutting back. A vast number of people are in real denial of what’s actually happening. While everyone is sitting around with an underlying sense of panic - they don’t want to come to terms with it psychologically. We haven’t experienced genuine economic decline in forty to 45 years. Vast number of people alive right now don’t know what it’s like to experience declines in living standards. We don’t know how to deal with it from an accounting or psychological
point of view.
Few economists are hip to what’s going on. We are living through the biggest economic decline in our lives. "News media continues to speculate about whether we will have a soft landing. But the metaphor is all wrong. The plane never took off in the first place. No matter where you look,
if you look carefully, you see a degraded economic structure of stagnation plus inflation. This is not a good omen for the future."
He answers the questions: What does the future hold for millennials and gen z? What sort of dream can
they have since the American Dream seems out of reach at the moment? How should they prepare? Should they pivot – deviate from the norm where planning a future
/ profession is concerned? How can we help?

The Border Discussion: Politically Charged and Divisive
Guest: Chief Chris Clem; Former Chief Border Patrol Agent in Partnership with Americans For Prosperity
**Jerry could not make it for this episode but was there in spirit!
Immigration should not be conflated with border security.
Immigration and border security are related they are not mutually
exclusive.
The false choices that our politicians give us are unfair.
There was a system years ago – it was more than just walls;
Access roads, Technology, Meeting Requirements
of Border Patrol Agents, Cameras, Sensors, etc.
This has only become politically charged and divisive in the last several years.
Both Democrats and Republicans at one time understood the immigration issue
This has become a humanitarian issue; trafficking of people and children, drugs, rape,
Unaccompanied minors unaccounted for. 85,000 lost children. Where are they? What has happened to them? Why do we not care?
It is as though the US Government is creating or at the
least closing the trafficking circle.
When IF the border is once again secure, and the back log
cleaned up – we can reduce and mitigate opportunities for human
exploitation.
Public Safety and National Security is the issue.

CNCT: Curating the Next Generation of Political Leaders
Jerry and Rose are joined by David Tennent, Founder of Capitol CNCT, a Washington D.C. based company looking to curate the next generation of political leaders in Washington. CNCT does this through fostering community and promoting professional development. CNCT has provided a platform for the next generation of leaders in DC to discover what they have in common and focus their intentions on that. Key is communicating and connecting beyond partisan lines.

The Political And Strategic History Of The World
Biographer and Historian Lord Conrad Black discusses his book: "The Political and Strategic History of the World, Vol I"
What would it take to grasp the history of the world? One might say that it would take 10 years, read 30 volumes of 1,000 pages each.
Black chose to focus on strategy, how people went from tribes and clans to where we are now - nations and confederation of nations. As a result - the history of the world - in a manageable length.

Change The Words
Brent Hamachek, co-author ofDissidently Speaking: Change the Words. Change the War Joins Jerry & Rose
What if we could flip two words in the English language and have people stop saying "it is" and instead ask "is it?"
Most Americans today feel as though our current state of divisiveness is not sustainable. They agree that something has to be done. The author agrees and suggests that the road to redemption for America requires a fresh look at:
• History
• Social structures
• Personal communication
• Ethics
Americans need to take a fresh look at ourselves. To do that we need to apply critical thinking, add some skepticism, and be willing to replace answers with questions.

We were divinely designed to work. Only 4% of Generation Z adhere to a Biblical World View.

* love for competition (which became taboo)

The Wait Is Over: A Tribute To Those Who Fought In WWI
Master Sculptor Sabin Howard shares: “A Soldier’s Journey,” has been years in the making and will serve as the centerpiece of the National World War I Memorial in Washington, D.C. When complete, Howard’s immense frieze will tell the story of an American reluctantly answering the call to war—a deeply personal and individual story and the grand symbolic story of the nation all at once. Across five scenes and 38 larger-than-life-size human figures, it is nearly 60 feet long and ten feet high. With Sabin known as the Greatest Living Sculptor and with the figurative mastery of this work, “A Soldier’s Journey” is poised to become the greatest memorial bronze of the modern age.
