Channel Update -- It's Marching Band Competition Season!!
A short update on the channel of videos coming and why videos in October and beginning of November are a little less common -- It's Marching Band Competition season, and our daughter is in marching band, so between games on Friday nights and competitions on Saturdays we stay pretty busy!!
There will still be new videos, but probably every week or so instead of every four days until after band competitions are over.
Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel!!!
1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ -- Cooling System Flush! Is Thermocure Good at Getting the Rust out??
In today's video, we are going to flush the cooling system on the XJ and get rid of all of the rust in the block. The cooling system has had new everything in the last year, and the only thing left was the rust in the system from sitting for a few years in the previous owner's yard. I had flushed it when I got it and replaced all of the cooling system parts, but there was still a lot of rust in the block.
I have used Evapo-rust products for years on my machine tools, and it works great so I decided to test their Thermocure product for getting rust out of cooling systems. They are not a sponsor but I don't mind giving credit when products are great and their products that I have used have been top notch.
Follow along as we give this cooling system a super flush!!!

1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ -- Replacing Headlights with LED Units from SPL Light and Reviewing Them
In this video, we will replace the headlights in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. We will also run wiring to add the daytime running light function as the 98 XJ did not have them. We will be using and reviewing some headlight units from SPL Light. They sent me a set of their headlights with the agreement that I would show them and how they work in all modes, and give them an honest review. They are not a sponsor, and they are not paying me, and agreed to allow an honest review, so here we are.
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!!!
If you want to get a set of these SPL lights for yourself, or check out their other lights, they have an Ebay and an Amazon store, just search SPL Light.

Holy Crap, it's been 20 Years!! Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003-2004 -- One Long Assed Weekend!!!
***This video shows some of the reality of war, so don't be a scumbag and report it, please***
This is a video I made using my photos from the invasion of Iraq and the first year of the war. I was the Battalion Recovery NCO for the 122nd Combat Engineer Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, attached to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.
The video was made about 15 years ago, and I had to change some of the music due to YouTube copyright rules. Specifically I had to remove Hell's Bells by AC/DC, which is kind of sad as that's where my wrecker got her name. But what can you do....... I would like to thank Tobey Keith, John Michael Montgomery, 3 Doors Down, and Madison Rising for allowing their copyrighted music to be used in YouTube videos. The 3 Doors Down album Away from the Sun is literally the soundtrack that plays in my head every time I think of war, which is pretty much every day.
Back in 2003, we only had disposable film cameras and rudimentary 1st generation digital cameras, without video capabilities, so please excuse the quality of some of the photos.
We did some of the best off road recovery in the worst conditions. Me and my boys left nothing behind for the enemy.
I was no hero, but I did have the privilege to know a bunch of them. They were the greatest worst days of our lives, and I do miss it so.
