Help finish the year off strong by checking out our Christmas collection on the One Nation shop: https://shop.onenation.org.au/collections/christmas
The world runs on resources. Australia is the lucky country, we have abundant natural resources, and with them, we help power the world while creating jobs and bringing prosperity to our communities.
But there are those who want to shut down the resource sector for their own ideological reasons. They will do whatever it takes, even if it means strangling the nation in red tape that isn't designed to increase safety or protect the environment, it's designed to shut things down.
This isn't a new tactic. We see repeatedly, no matter what world we are in, as this week's episode will show you.

Unveiling the Crisis: The Shocking Truth Behind Australia's Education Decline
Strong evidence for one of the main reasons behind the decline of Australian education has been exposed this week.
The benchmarking analysis released by Learning First chief executive Ben Jensen has laid bare the inadequacy of our science curriculum compared to others around the world.
This is an analysis the government should have done, and now we know why it hasn’t.
The report shows that by the time Australian students finish Year 8, they will have been provided less than half the science content than the average of these other jurisdictions including Canada, England, Japan, Singapore and the United States.
In physics, our curriculum has 56 per cent less content and in biology, almost 70 per cent less content.
So much for the ‘clever country’.
I attended dinner with some business leaders last night and asked what their priority was for the government to address – and almost all of them nominated improving education standards and outcomes.
In addition to fixing the glaring shortfalls in the national curriculum, we also need better trained and better supported teachers.
They also need more comprehensive training and support in the face of rising discipline issues in classrooms and increasing school ‘refusal’.
We used to have dedicated teacher colleges in Australia, but since this was transferred to universities the decline in education outcomes and standards have followed suit.
And as we’ve seen last week, some teachers are more interested in recruiting activists among their students and indoctrinating them in radical causes.
They’re teaching kids what to think, not how to think.
Let’s get back to basics and teach kids what they need to know.

National Security Crisis: Exposing the Incompetence of the Albanese Labor Government
The Albanese Labor government's incompetence in handling national security and border security is unforgivable.
Due to their failure to prepare for the decisions of the High Court, and the mistakes they have made following these decisions, Australians have been placed in danger, and a green light has been given to people smugglers.
To make matters worse, they still haven't produced legislation to fix this mess, and every day they wait places Aussies in more danger.
They are simply not fit to govern this nation.

National Security Alert: Labor's Risky Moves Could be Putting Aussies in Danger
The Albanese Labor government is placing the safety of Australians and the security of our nation at risk by giving temporary protection visas to more than 860 Palestinians.
For almost 20 years, Palestinians in Gaza have supported Hamas and their terrorist regime.
Polling of Palestinians in recent years has shown that up to 70 percent of them are supportive of Hamas, a prescribed terrorist group.
And this Labor government wants to bring more than 860 of these people here, no doubt to swell the ranks of those on Australian streets calling for the gassing of Jews.
We have absolutely no assurance or guarantee these people aren’t heavily radicalised, or that they’re not members of active terrorist cells.
Why is Labor bringing them here to sow more anti-Semitism, when they could find ‘refuge’ in Muslim countries where their alien culture is more accepted.
Why must they be allowed to come to our country where we have values – freedom of religion and speech, secular democracy and the rule of law – that are incompatible with theirs?
Our housing crisis hasn’t ended, by the way.
It’s worse than ever.
Labor’s housing policy is completely worthless and their 30,000 homes will make no dent in the current shortfall of at least 650,000 homes.
Yet Labor still insists on not only flooding our borders with hundreds of thousands of people every year, but is now giving temporary protection visas to another 2000-plus people from the Middle East conflict zone.
This is completely against the national interest, just like this appalling Labor government.

One Nation Takes a Stand: Protecting Farmers and Communities Against Labor's Damaging Water Bill
Labor-Green environmental marxism, which puts the interests of fish and frogs and birds and trees ahead of Australian human beings, must be held accountable for the disasters it is creating.
It must be stopped before it’s too late.
We have an opportunity here to show farmers and regional Australians they still have some support in this Parliament.
One Nation stands with our farmers, with our irrigators, and with the Basin communities against this direct attack on their very survival.
The Murray Darling Basin Plan is supposed to be a balanced scheme, supporting better environmental outcomes in addition to ensuring sustainable irrigation industries and regional economies.
The balance is thrown out with this bill.
One Nation will never support more buybacks from desperate irrigators, because we’ve seen for ourselves the devastation they’ve caused in river communities.
We will not support any change to the cap on buybacks.
We will not support any reversal of the outcomes of the Northern Basin Review, which confirmed the negative socio-economic impacts of water reform and sensibly reduced water recovery by 70 gigalitres.
We will not support any removal or watering down of the socio-economic test on water recovery.
This was put in place to help ensure the economic and social sustainability of river communities because it was acknowledged water reform was most definitely going to cause harm.
Labor and the Greens deliberately caused this harm.
They are responsible for the damage to lives and livelihoods their anti-farming policies have created.
And now they’ve teamed up to deliberately cause more of this harm to the farmers and country communities they hate.
In the long term, it will do little for the environmental health of the river but it will make our grocery bills a lot more expensive.

Unmasking Labor's Injustice: The Hidden Toll on Aussie Families in Family Law Courts
The financial and emotional toll on Aussies unlucky enough to be forced to navigate the family law courts often leaves them incapable of pursuing further action.
Unfortunately, the Albanese Labor Government seemingly protects judges at the expense of those who feel unjustly treated. The argument that judges might fear rendering decisions without immunity ignores the need for accountability in a system affecting countless families.
The recent Family Law Amendment Bill by the Labor government, which I opposed, raises similar concerns about accountability. The call for immunity for judges appears to prioritize the judiciary over the rights of individuals.
Labor continues to make changes to this system without properly considering the serious harm they are doing to children and Australian families. The potential impact on families and the denial of recourse for those seeking justice should be properly investigated before such legislation is enacted.
I will not support rushing this through without addressing these crucial concerns.

Labor's Immigration Surge: Risks and Neglect for Australia
The Labor government's push for record immigration poses unnecessary risks. Today, The Albanese Labor Government will attempt to legislate a proposed influx of foreign families, allowing access to benefits meant for Australians. The irresponsible nature of this legislation will further strain our housing, infrastructure, and welfare systems.
This bill, driven by the government's focus on increasing our population through immigration and keeping wages low by importing labor, neglects the urgent issue of unemployment among capable Australians.
Instead of an overreliance on importing foreign labor, we need to review our out-of-control welfare spending in a way that encourages fit and healthy Australians to re-enter the workforce and helps balance the budget.
By disregarding the realities of our economy and the needs of Australian citizens, Labor continues to act against the best interests of our nation. We must prioritize the well-being of Australians first.

Debunking Albanese's Climate Change Myths: What's Really Driving Energy Costs
This week Labor and the Coalition will push through another ridiculous bill that puts us another step down the road to climate change lunacy.
The dribble coming out of these Senators is mind-blowing.
Labor, the Greens, the Nationals and the Liberals are hell-bent on sacrificing Australia on the altar of net-zero, when Senator Wong couldn’t even explain what net-zero means.
They lie to us, telling us that reducing Australia’s carbon dioxide emissions will save the planet.
It won’t.
It’s a load of claptrap to push UN agreements and grab votes by peddling fear.
Even if you could reduce Australia’s emissions to absolute zero overnight, China will replace them inside 12 months, yet we continue to allow carbon-intensive Chinese imports.
They lie to us, saying that renewables are cheaper, when in fact they are directly responsible for Australian households being forced to pay some of the highest electricity bills in the world.
These electricity bills are the biggest component in the rising cost of living that is reducing Australia’s living standards and forcing many families into poverty and homelessness.
Labor is desperate to enable its 82% renewable energy by 2030 policy and achieve a 43% cut to Australian CO2 in the same timeframe.
The Treasurer has already warned that this will require more drastic interventions by government.
I’d say that government intervention is what has mainly led to the 300% increase in our energy costs since renewables began to pollute our energy landscape.
More government intervention is only going to make things worse, and make energy cost even more than it already does.
For centuries, prophets of doom have been declaring the world would come to an end and the climate change nuts have brought this nonsense into the 21st century.
They say fires, floods and cyclones driven by climate change will limit food availability – what a joke!
We’re experiencing some of the biggest yields in the world due to carbon dioxide, which is essential for plant growth and the basis for almost all life on this planet.
I’ll tell you what’s destroying food production: politicians around the world are destroying our farming sector in the insane quest to get rid of carbon dioxide.
Wind turbines, transmission lines and solar panels are doing more damage to our planet than carbon dioxide ever will.
We are allowing our children to be brainwashed into this lunatic cult in our schools and universities due to a lack of critical thinking, and debate being discouraged.
Both Labor and the Coalition are pushing this climate alarmism and One Nation is committed to opposing them every step of the way by putting Australia’s best interest first.

Challenges of Combating Terrorism in Australia: One Nation's Perspective
Recently, there have been terrible acts committed by Hamas Islamic extremists that have made us aware of the ongoing threat of Islamic terrorism in Australia. Some individuals in our parliament openly support these terrorists, which is deeply concerning. We should firmly reject any public support for such acts of terror within our country.
The issue of Islamic extremism highlights the need for stricter immigration policies, something that One Nation has consistently advocated for over the past 25 years. Importing radicalism poses a significant challenge to our national security.
Additionally, there is controversy over a recent decision by the High Court of Australia. The decision allows a convicted terrorist to keep their Australian citizenship, a move criticized by One Nation. We believe this decision devalues Australian citizenship and have called for the immediate deportation of the convicted terrorist upon completing their sentence or, if not, life imprisonment.
To ensure the well-being and safety of our citizens, we need to take steps to protect our communities from the threats posed by Islamic terrorism. It's crucial to remain vigilant, as terrorists are constantly changing their tactics. The situation in Israel serves as a stark reminder of the need to strengthen our laws and measures to combat terrorism. One Nation is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our citizens and is resolute in the fight against terrorism.

The Blame Game | Pauline Hanson's Please Explain
Australia has spoken, and Albanese's Voice has been defeated. Surely the Labor Government will accept this result and move on to important issues like an audit of the Aboriginal industry or dealing with the cost of living crisis?
Not a chance!
Get ready for the blame game! Albanese has missed his chance at history, and now someone has to pay, and it won't be him.

Labor's Immigration Scam
A precedent-setting change to immigration policy is currently before the Senate.
I’m raising this crucial matter because we are being asked to contemplate replacing a merit-based system with a lottery on working visas.
However this is more than a profound departure from decades of immigration policy.
Labor is deceitfully opening yet another back door to permanent residency for yet more people this country is unable to accommodate.
The Albanese government may be a side show, but our immigration system shouldn’t be run like a chook raffle or lucky dip.
This also flies in the face of Australian community sentiment about immigration numbers – our people overwhelmingly support much lower immigration levels.
Australians are angry about Labor ignoring their views on immigration.
They are screaming about it, because increasing numbers of Australian families are facing increased mortgage payments, higher rents and homelessness thanks to the high demand driven by Labor’s immigration policies.
It will put more undue pressure on our health and education systems, on our public infrastructure, on wage growth, and on our welfare system.
This legislation would first put working visa applicants in a lottery, and only afterwards require them to demonstrate they were being sponsored into a job.
This is the reverse of what should be in place.
However, even worse is that people from Pacific Island nations will be given opportunities to bring their families with them if their working visa application is accepted.
Their families will be able to access benefits and student funding.
There are a few serious problems with this approach.
Most of these people come to Australia for seasonal agricultural work.
After the season’s over, there is no more work so they go home and take their earnings with them.
Allowing them to stay permanently means many of them will end up depending on our welfare system when the season’s work dries up.
It would also drain these island nations of skilled workers, hurting their economies.
The Cook Islands have already signalled this problem with Labor’s legislation, and I expect others may follow suit.
Labor claims this is part of its broader engagement strategy for nations in the Pacific.
I have to say something about some of these nations.
Australia gives them a huge amount of foreign aid, assistance after natural disasters and assistance to improve poor governance.
We have even committed military and police forces in times of conflict and unrest.
In exchange, these nations beat us up over Australia’s 1% of global human carbon dioxide emissions.
The irony is, they go to communist China for money for infrastructure and say nothing about that country’s 30% of global emissions.
When China calls in this debt, they will again come to Australia screaming for help.
And I will say no.
I will say: you made your bed and you can lie in it.
It was announced this week that China is going to reboot and re-invigorate its so-called ‘belt and road’ initiative, so we can look forward to more of this hypocrisy in Pacific diplomacy.
This new policy is a scam.
One Nation is the only party that stands with the majority of Australian people in demanding a substantial reduction in our immigration levels.
It forms a critical element of our signature policy to end the housing and rental crisis, which continues to get worse under Prime Minister Albanese.

Aussies Voted No! This Is What We Should Do Next.
Whatever may be said about the voice to Parliament referendum, one thing is clear.
The no campaign may have won, but the real winners were equality and Australian democracy.
This referendum showed the world that it’s not governments, corporations or activists who hold power in this nation.
It’s the Australian people.
On the weekend we voted overwhelmingly in favour of equal citizenship, and against racial inequality.
It was most definitely not a rejection of indigenous Australians.
It was a rejection of racial separatism, racial exceptionalism, constitutional activism, and grievance and identity politics.
Australians have decided these have no place in our Constitution.
One Nation led the way on this most important of national decisions.
We were the first party to declare for the no vote; we were advocating against the voice from the beginning; and we made telling contributions to the debate.
However, the best promoters of the no vote ended up being the leaders of the ‘yes’ campaign: Marcia Langton, Noel Pearson, Megan Davis, Thomas Mayo, Linda Burney and – of course – Anthony Albanese.
Their statements over the years probably did more than anything else to kills support for the voice.
And they called it ‘misinformation’.
So what next?
This referendum has been a wake-up call for many Australians.
They want answers about why the gaps haven’t closed despite the many billions of dollars spent on it every year.
For many years I’ve been calling for a comprehensive audit of the aboriginal industry that has failed indigenous Australia.
This is absolutely essential so that Australians get the answers they deserve.

Labor Grilled Over Family Law Changes
This week, the Senate is debating Labor's proposed changes to Family Law legislation.
We have reached the 'committee stage' where you can ask questions of the Government regarding their legislation.
I'd love to hear your feedback and receive some questions you would like to be asked.
In case you were wondering, because the explanation of the legislation Labor has proposed makes reference to Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), I tried to drill down on Labor's understanding of how this is defined.
As I have already stated, I cannot support what Labor is proposing. I have a number of amendments to this Bill that I will try to pass to protect the rights of children and families. I will continue to hold this government accountable and force them to answer the tough questions.

Trick or Treaty? Yes Campaign Exposed Again!
The sneaky tricks of the Yes campaign have been completely exposed again!
Leaked messages from official Yes campaign advisors have emerged, clearly showing the Yes campaign's tactic of downplaying treaty links to some voters and highlighting treaty for others.
Is it any wonder voters are confused? Is it any wonder they have questions? And on top of it all, when confused voters express their concerns about the lack of clear details, Yes campaigners like Ray Martin call them 'd*ckheads.'
But the truth is there in black and white for you to see: Voice = Treaty.
Even the Yes campaign admits the link between Voice and Treaty, some of the time.

The Media's Voice | Pauline Hanson's Please Explain
We all know that the hosts of the left-wing shows that flood our nightly airwaves aren't coming up with all their own lines. No, they have a little voice in their ear telling them exactly what to say.
And it's not their producer!
Where others might have a conscience or a voice of reason, these biased presenters have a little Labor prime minister in the back of their minds, and they'd do anything to keep him happy.
Just how far will the media go to help Albanese with his Voice obsession? You'll just have to tune into this week's episode to find out.
