Chair Yoga For Healthy Joints - 33 Minute Class
In Chair Yoga for Healthy Joints, we move through all the joints of the body gently opening and warming. We begin with some gentle breathing and finish with a short meditation🧘♂️
This is a great class to do early in the morning to open and loosen the body and calm the mind for the day.
Remember to listen to your body, the practice should feel good for you. Allow your body to naturally progress as it's ready, favor softness and release rather than force or effort.

Live: Gentle Chair Yoga Class - 55 Minute Class
This is a 55 minutes, Fully Seated, Gentle Chair Yoga Class given Live through Zoom. The sequence is very accessible and we mostly stick with upper body with a few exceptions.
We begin with about 10 minutes of Breathing then move into the postures and end with 10 minutes or so of guided relaxation/meditation.

Moon Breathing: 8 Minute Guided Breathing
In this guided breathing practice (called Pranayama) we learn Moon breathing (Chandra Bhedana in Sanskrit). This breathing activates the Left energy channel (Ida Nadi) which stimulates the “feminine” or Yin quality of coolness in the body.
Therefore, this is good for people with excess Yang/heat in the body and is not necessary for those with excess Yin/cold.

Abdominal (Diaphragmatic) Breathing - 9 Minute Guided Breathing
In this 9 Minute Guided Breath Practice we explore Abdominal or Diaphragmatic Breathing.
In general we tend to breathe into the chest area to upper part of the lungs, but the most efficient oxygen exchange takes place in the lower lobes where the is a greater concentration of blood.
This breathing is also very mentally calming and can be used as preparation for meditation or just to relax and come back to the present moment.
