Cruising The Bahamas (Exumas: swimming with nurse sharks, drug planes & iguanas) - Ep. 19

After dropping Stacey & Erin off at the Airport, we take care of a few task for the yacht before heading north to Compass Cay. Compass Cay is famous for the plethora of nurse sharks that you can swim with and feed.

That same day we keep moving to Norman's Cay to explore a partially sunk C-46 (think WWII paratrooper plane) laying in the shallows that has turned into artificial reef. Norman's Cay was once used by Pablo Escobar's cartel network as a transshipment base before smuggling drugs into the US. Legend has it that the C-46 was too overloaded with cocaine and crashed shortly after takeoff.

The next morning we keep working north to find the Allan Cays that are famous for their iguanas with poor eye sight.

Huge THANKS to our Patrons for your continued support!!!
