SO. FREAKING. CLOSE! Despite the UNBELIEVABLE upset, all I can do is laugh about this, as it is truly hilarious. Sometimes, you just have to laugh! PLUS, this is still technically progress in my eyes, as I was not feeling strong at all today, during my warm ups, and the unrack was taxing as hell; and the last time I did this weight, was with a handoff with the help of my fiancé. So I did the same amount of reps, and got RIDICULOUSLY CLOSE to a sixth rep (could this count as a gimme? 😅) unassisted, not feeling at my best, and with the FREAKING SPEAKERS CUTTING OUT. If I had the additional help of a handoff, saving a significant amount of energy, and if I also didn't have MASSIVE J-Hooks, I think I could have EASILY got that sixth rep; if not MORE. So all in all, I take this as progress, and a WIN for the day. Plus, I got a funny vid/memory out of it👌🏻
