Alchemy is defined as the process of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary. An example of alchemy is taking a pile of scrap metal and turning it into a piece of art. Justification (as God reckons it) is akin go this, but more radical. Assuming the highest viewpoint possible (the absolute God-viewpoint), justification states the pile of scrap metal ITSELF to be the piece of art. Such a transformative assessment can usually only be seen and appreciated in hindsight.
