Hook: Tiemco 105, #4 for the head section, Mustad 3366 #6 for the mid-section and tail section
Thread: Wapsi UTC Ultra Thread 70 Denier, Black & Wapsi 100 denier GSP for the deer hair
Tail Fin: Small Pheasant rump feather
Tail & Mid Section: Palmered Ring-Neck Pheasant Hackles
Head Hackle: Palmered Large Ring-Neck Pheasant Hackles
Belly: Yellow Marabou
Collar: Deer Hair
Head: Deer Hair
Eyes/Weight: Medium Yellow Dumbbell Eyes
Articulation: 20lb Power Pro fishing line, or equivalent braided fishing line.

The Morlock Goby was tied many years ago to target Great Lakes Carp on Beaver Island. Over the years it has proven a great fly and many other species have fallen prey to it. This is a triple articulated fly that utilized some basic fly tying techniques. It also incorporates a deer hair head. If you are just wanting to get into working with deer hair this is a great fly to start!
