Our calling is "holy," yes, but it is "not in accord with acts" (2 Timothy 1:9).
Holiness and the things that we do are sold separately. Holiness is a state decreed by God. Many will attempt to use works as a gauge of whether or not one has legitimate faith. This is a mistake. In Paul's gospel, faith stands alone. Works ARE a sign of faith, but the lack of works is not necessarily a sign of a lack of faith.
