MZTV 558 - 11/06/2020: Sin and Death Exhausted Itself Upon Christ

Sin and death did everything it could against Christ. It exhausted itself upon Him as He hung on the cross. Thus, Christ took everything that our greatest enemies (sin and death) could dish out, and He took these enemies to the tomb with Him, and then rose from the dead without them. This is why we are free from sin and death; sin and death have nothing more that they can do; no more power. We are free.
