Believe it or not, Satan has no offensive weapons. He is a defeated foe. The only thing he has left is lies. Christians believe every one of his lies. Thus, Satan loves Christians. He hates us, however, because to us his lies have been exposed.

The armor of God, spoken of by Paul in Ephesians 6, is a collection of chiefly defensive implements designed to protect us against the lies of Satan. The armor of God already exists; we simply come to understand that it is working constantly on our behalf. Here is an introduction to the armor of God.
