We ought to be all for conciliation and understanding and "cutting slack" to those inside of Paul's gospel (i.e. "believers"), but it is a common mistake to apply these sterling qualities to those OUTSIDE of Paul's gospel so as to get them into the fold apart from an acceptance of the foundational teachings of the gospel itself.
