I decided to recruit the help of my amazing girlfriend, and future wife, as the liftoff is always the hardest part for me (especially with these J-hooks), and she is quite a good spotter.
I was not even feeling my best today. The weights were feeling a little heavier, and my back just felt stiffer, and getting an arch was for some reason harder than usual. Despite all of that though, I CRUSHED IT, setting a new rep PR in the process. I am very happy with this, it went way better than I was hoping for. A great way to conclude things before Christmas, and hopefully a sign of greater things to come!
