Scott Brio - You (Deep House)

So, I’ve decided that anything I don’t release on @deepmnmltech I’m just going to be self releasing. I hate “shopping for labels”... sending tracks out, just to wait for weeks and never hear back. Or hear back and have to wait weeks to have the track approved and released. I’m over it. It’s just a proverbial stick-in-the-spokes of my creative process. It was always something that got in my way because I’d be stoked on a song, only for the excitement to fizzle out shopping labels and then by the time I post it, I’m over it. Telling people to shop for labels IMO is actually kind of terrible advice anyways. It’s a sort of gatekeeping mentality that your music is only good enough if it’s approved by someone else.

So, I’ve decided to self release. From here on out all my music will be released on @distrokid and on all major streaming platforms as soon (or shortly after) as it’s completed. If someone wants to sign a song- we can talk about working on future projects. I’m aiming to really ramp up my releases and put things out regularly. I’ve got album art templates I like a lot and am even doing my own mastering. It’s a metric butt load of work being a completely self sufficient artist. It’s taken me 20 years to get to where I am now, and to be happy with my final product.

With all that off my chest- here’s my latest one. Lots of heart went into this one. I hope you like it 💗
