Compass Boat with Fin Does Good

Maybe simple is better after all. It seems the more advanced notion of magnetic inertial propulsion is lost to the average Youtube viewer but this is something fun that anyone can get their mind around.

The magnet is a compass that turns the boat side to side and the fin in the water pushes the boat (in any direction you please).

Will it work in a helium blimp with the fin pushing against the air or what about an airplane with a big tail and long wings?

How powerful would that magnet need to be to rotate a small boat with a person in it in a calm lake?

Stay tuned:)
