Showers and storms roll in today with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Some of these thunderstorms could produce torrential downpours, with some possible localized flooding, alongside gusty winds. Wednesday has a lot more sunshine on tap with chances for a scattered shower and rumble of thunder slightly possible. Another cool down arrives Thursday and Friday, with highs in the lower to mid 70s. A few rain showers might sprinkle on us, Thursday. The weekend currently looks mainly dry with highs in the 80s for Independence Day.
