A break in the rain late morning and early afternoon as high temperatures rise to the upper 70s and low 80s, with building humidity. Mostly cloudy skies, with limited sunshine is expected today. Another round of storms could fire up in the afternoon and into the evening hours. With chances again of them packing a punch of strong to severe weather as well. Showers and storms continue to surge through the area Friday night and into Saturday morning, with the potential for heavy flooding rains. A slight chance of showers or storms lingers Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. Monday and Tuesday we finally dry out and target temperatures in the low 80s!
