The antebellum homestead flattened

Does this look like a home in the countryside? It doesn't to us. We suspect it will be a solar power plant.

This once was the remnants of an antebellum homestead with rock reinforced terraces and a lushly diverse variety of plants and wildlife. The hill top has been completely destroyed, rocks dug up then pulverized, and massive amount of dirt moved.
We were trying to buy it to protect our privacy and expand farm operations, but the once friendly and generous land owner mysteriously disappeared and never returned any of our correspondences. Instead, it was practically given away, selling for half of it's estimated value. It was a shady land deal.
