Homestead Expansion Project

Removing vast tangles of invasive waiwi [wy-vee] or Yellow Cherry Guava by hand is an extremely arduous task, often taking months to make even small amount of progress. This also leaves the tangled root systems in place, which rapidly generates new offshoots. It is extremely difficult to manage without toxic herbicides, which I prefer not to use.

I was very fortunate to have friends bring over an excavator and chainsaws and help me clear near my house and prepare the area for a shed for my solar and a new shower! Woohoo!
