The Big Story:

Derek Chauvin’s lawyer has filed motion for a new trial, siting a number of factors that disallowed Chauvin a fair trial. A jury that was not sequestered, violent rhetoric from Rep Maxine Waters, and an impartial juror that may have lied to get on the jury.
