112W Explosion Proof Paint Spray Booth Lay-In LED Fixture - C1D2 - (4) 4' Lamps - Rear Access

This amazing new Paint Spray Booth Lighting is great for automotive painting, powder coating and inspection booths.

The Larson Electronics HAL-RA-48-4L-LED Paint Spray Booth Lay-In Panel Light Fixture is designed for robust illumination in hazardous locations. Consisting of four, 4` LED lamps, this 112-watt lighting system is a viable replacement for traditional fluorescent fixtures. During installation, this unit is mounted directly into the wall, with rear access to the internal components of the luminary. Voltage options include 120-277V AC or 11-25V AC/DC.

The HAL-RA-48-4L-LED is designed for integrated lighting requirements in paint spray booths and other hazardous locations. This 112-watt unit is made up of four, 4` LED tube-style fixtures (28 watts each), capable of emitting a total of 14,000 lumens (3,500 lumens per lamp). Operators can choose from the following color temperature options: 5,600K; 4,500K or 3,000K. For accurate color rendering, this LED lighting system supports a CRI rating of 80 and a flood beam configuration for maximum coverage over the target area.

The LED tubes inside this unit requires no ballast for operation. To increase safety during installation and routine maintenance, these lamps are wired for single sided power with an internal integrated LED driver housed within the tubes. The internal LED driver is a "smart" driver, sensing the incoming voltage and adjusting accordingly to provide the current required by the lamp. This allows operators to simply wire the fixture to voltage within the 120-277V range, no modifications required. This includes commonly found voltages such as 120V 60Hz, 220V 50Hz, 240V 60Hz and 277V 60Hz. We also offer a 11-25V AC/DC version for low voltage applications for AC or DC power. Low voltage fixtures require no modifications between 11-25V power sources, nor between alternating and direct current supply.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Durability/Mounting: The HAL-RA-48-4L-LED is constructed of aluminum with hardened borosilicate glass lenses. This NEMA-rated fixture is suitable for Class I, Division 1 & 2 and Class II, Division 1 & 2 industrial facilities. For protection against the ingress of water, the unit features an IP67 rating.

This paint spray booth LED lighting system is designed for recessed mounting configurations and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accomodating the fixture`s housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in paint spray booth enclosures. Hub size options for completing connections to the unit includes 1/2" or 3/4".

Applications: Paint spray booths and enclosed spaces where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present.
