Leadership Classics: John Ortberg | What do you believe? FEAR

Jesus knew His Father was always with Him. That knowledge gave Him remarkable courage no matter who crossed Him or opposed Him. He would not back down. He went to the cross and died for this vision. He knew that He was always safe in the Father’s hands. Everyone needs to know a measure of safety that is deeper than good economic news. When we understand that nothing ultimate is at risk when our Father is always watching over us and that even death itself cannot take us outside of God’s care, then we can know safety. That's what Jesus believed.
