Antique Chocolate Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe (Made Paleo)

Original Recipe: The Pillsbury Cook Book (1914)
Chocolate Ice Cream
1 pint cram
1 pint milk
6 eggs
5 ozs. chocolate
3/4 lb sugar
1 tsp cinnamon extract
Melt the chocolate and add the cinnamon extract. Make and cook the custard; then add to it the chocolate while both are hot. Cook, chill and freeze.

Cinnamon Chocolate Ice Cream (Made Paleo)
2 1/2 oz. chocolate
1 tsp cinnamon
1 can coconut milk
1/2 cup almond milk
3 tsp gelatin or 3 eggs
1 cup coconut sugar
Melt the chocolate and cinnamon in a double boiler. Combine milks, eggs, and coconut sugar. Cook custard in a double boiler. Combine custard and chocolate while both are warm and let cool. Freeze in an ice cream maker. Serve soft serve, or put in the freezer for a few hours to harden.
