Nested along one of the ridges just a few miles south of the county line that is formed by the winding Kentucky River which divides Madison and Fayette counties in Central Kenucky, the home of Cassius Marcellus Clay sits the stately manner.
White Hall State Historic Site was the home of Cassius Marcellus Clay, 19th century emancipationist, politician, newspaper publisher, Ambassador to Russia, and friend to Abraham Lincoln.
