Victim, driver in Newport crash identified

A 28-year-old's high-speed flight from law enforcement on Friday night began with an attempted traffic stop and ended in a fatal crash. Three days later, neither the Cincinnati Police Department nor the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, both of which pursued him across the Roebling Bridge, had disclosed the reason for the traffic stop and vigorous pursuit.
