Megadeth's Dave Mustaine Confirms He Has Throat Cancer

Dave Mustaine, vocalist and guitarist of the hard rock, metal band Megadeth, confirmed he has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Mustaine made the announcement in a Facebook post saying: "I'm working closely with my doctors, and we've mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate." The iconic rocker said that his treatment has already begun but the band will have to cancel most of their 2019 tour dates.
