I was Diagnosed with Throat Cancer

Right after my first mission trip I was diagnosed with throat cancer. It was the most difficult and most incredible year of my life. I underwent surgery to remove my tonsil and a lymph node and then trudged through several weeks of chemo therapy and radiation.

I lost a lot of weight and became a shell of the man I once was, however, God never left me. He held me in his arms and rocked me like a child in my lowest moments and never let go.

I hope this story helps some of you who might be struggling with an illness wether it be physical or mental to know that you are not alone. And, if you want to talk or someone to pray with, I'm here.

Psalm 91 was given to me over and over again throughout my time with cancer. It is a chapter in the bible that to this day reaches deep into my soul. If you are able, google it or pick up a bible, open it to about the middle and read Psalm 91. Let me know if the words impact you in the comments below.

Hi, I'm Greg.
In 2010 God asked me to drop my nets and follow Him. So I did!
I walked away from my daily comforts and riches of what used to be my normal life and answered His call to Go and Tell to the ends of the earth.

Join me each week as I take you on an adventure in the real life of a missionary sold out for Christ.

I'll do my best to show you the true picture of what it really looks like to die to yourself and follow Him. "...For it is no longer I who live, but He who lives in me." Galatians 2:20
