Armed and dangerous man who shot at officers still at large in Erlanger

Savard was arrested Thursday on as-yet-unknown federal charges. He had been suspended months earlier — and years before that was disciplined for paying cash tips to other officers who worked off-duty details. Although we don't yet know whether his arrest was related to past financial improprieties, we do know an IRS investigator will help announce the charges Friday.
