Making’ Burglers

10,000 steps on the Climbmill this morning got me craving something besides leftover roast so I made a trip to Safeway

I got 4lbs of 96% ground beef, re-upped on celery and made some burgers!

I mixed in salt, pepper and paprika and seared the outsides on high in a pan with a light coating of olive oil. Once the sides were browned, I covered the pan and let the patties simmer on medium heat for 5-7 minutes more

96% lean beef is a solid protein source with the following macros per 4oz/112g serving:

130 Kcal, 4.5g Fat, 0g Carb, 23g Protein

Not to mention micronutrients like iron and creatine!

In & Out? Not this guy. I’ll make my own burgers, so I can stay in the fight! 💪🏾🇰🇪🇺🇸😋
