Episode 604: Will God give everyone new bodies? Part 2

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we take a look at the future of the human body from God's perspective.

First how did we get this current body. What happened to us that made our bodies subjected to the elements of the world's conditions?

Second, we investigate the two types of seeds. Seeds? Yes. Some of our bodies are in the devil's kingdom and some of our bodies are in God's kingdom. The nature of the seed govern's the seed's behavior and the seed's acceptance to God.

Wait a minute, Kevin. Isn't that backwards? Shouldn't the behavior of the seed govern the acceptance by God?

My friend, you have the wrong scriptures and the wrong God. The answer to your question is absolutely not, according the the scriptures. The Bible teaches that each type of seed have the nature of the tree within itself. That's Genesis 1:11-13.

"Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit ACCORDING TO ITS KIND, WHOSE SEED IS IN ITSELF, on the earth”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day."

Now listen to Jesus explain this truth in Matthew 7:15-20
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

It's the tree that produces the nature of the fruit which has its seed within itself. If you are part of the tree of Jesus, you will possess His nature. If you are part of the tree of Satan, then you will possess His nature.

Jesus explains this further in Matthew 12:33-35.
“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things."

Now, what is my point. The point is you and I don't get to determine our nature, our nature is contingent upon whose tree we are a partaker of.

Today's study is 1 hour and 7 minutes in duration. I have broken it into three segments. This is segment 2 of 3 titled Will God give everyone new bodies? Part 2
