Why Your Google Ads Get ZERO Impressions and How to Fix It?

If you are struggling to get any impression on your Google Ads then this might be the reason. Impressions are simply the number of times your Ad is shown. If you are getting zero or rarely any, that means Google isn't even displaying your ad and that is a big problem.

The most common reason is that your bids are too low to compete. To check this, go to your campaign overview and switch one of the metrics to impressions. If the number is near zero, you have a bidding issue. So what's the fix? Well, you increase your bids and add more keywords to engage your ads and stay competitive. But don't just guess. Head over to Google's keyword planner and check the average bid amount for your target keywords. If your bids are below the industry average, you are bidding too low.

So now you have two options: increase the bid for the whole campaign to give every ad a boost or adjust bids at the ad group level to focus more on your best-performing keywords.
