BioWare Cutting Activist Employees following DRAGON AGE: THE VEILGUARD Disaster

EA and BioWare had a disastrous launch for their major release Dragon Age: The Veilguard and it looks as if the studio is laying the blame on the activists within the company.

Much of the criticism for the latest entry in the Dragon Age series has been attributed to the game’s ham-fisted political messaging. This includes dialogue that sounds more like a lecture from a woke college professor over characters in a fantasy RPG setting. It’s possible EA is going to continue with their messing and the people leaving are simply being let go because they were only hired to work on Dragon Age. However, since other studios are starting to abandon DEI it is possible BioWare is following suite. We won’t know more until the next Mass Effect game is released.
