Tax and Housing Help for Millennials & Gen Z

Emily Greene, State Director for Americans for Prosperity joins Jerry and Rose to discuss The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Key provisions of the TCJA of 2017 set to expire this year. How this will affect you?
On Housing: Zoning laws prevent new builds and availability which drives up cost of housing. We need to promote legislation in State Capitols that addresses this issue.
On the brain drain: According to Census data, some states like Pennsylvania have populations declining and fall victim to the brain drain. 20-30 year olds leaving some states for greener pastures. These issues should lead into a greater conversation around policies that will allow Millennials & Generation Z to thrive. AFP wants to encourage younger generations to stay and make their states more competitive.
