MZTV 1654: “The Last Trump”/No Green Lights in God’s Will

Was I disappointed that the snatching away did not happen on Monday at noon, at the last Trump? Well—yes. Is it possible for a person to be disappointed and expectant at the same time? For that, I am a walking lab experiment. I spiritually sulk every moment I am here on earth, away from Christ. What keeps me from chronic misery? Besides Green Borneo Kratom and white noise, it's my expectation that the NEXT moment could be the one. In the meantime, I am thankful for the ways God makes these time passages less painful.

In an apparently unrelated topic, how are we to know what God wants us to do? I mean, moment by moment. After all, the Bible doesn’t tell us what kind of car to buy or what to cook for dinner. Two things. We are to rely on the spirit of God making its home in us and in the fact that God is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will. In other words, read the circumstance and decide accordingly.

But what about that famous verse in the 27th Psalm that says, “Wait on the Lord.” Aren’t we supposed to wait and see what God wants us to do? Gee, I don't know. How do you suppose God will tell you to cook macaroni and cheese for supper? An audible voice? Writing on the refrigerator? Speaking of waiting, wait until you see what the 27th Psalm ACTUALLY says in the Concordant Version of the Old Testament. It will change the way you wait. Wait until you see the change.

Thus we will have come full circle.
