Donna Edwards: ‘Dems Have Always Accepted the Results of a Free and Fair Election’

>> I knew there was a burning question I was supposed to ask the senator and completely forgot. I was so focused on certification. But, gee, former congresswoman Edwards, should we be shocked that Democrats would accept the results of a free and fair election?
>> Well, Democrats have always accepted the results of a free and fair election. This election is not going to be any different. And in fact, Kamala Harris will be, you know, sort of there in place to do that. And so I fully expect that Democrats are going to vote to certify as they mostly always have. I would be shocked maybe there will be one or two. But I would be shocked that would happen. And that is the way it’s supposed to be. I don’t even recall the certification dates when I was in Congress. I actually have no recollection even though I know I was there.
