Everything else is shuttered. Hawk explains why there are no homeless people roaming the mall, they are not allowed in. Many people have great memories of the mall during its heyday, but some say its decline has been going on for several years. Posted • December 12, 2024: A Chinese female tourist experienced a frightening incident on Sunday, 8th December, while traveling by train in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She fell from the carriage after leaning out of the window to take pictures, but fortunately, she sustained only minor injuries. According to social media footage, the tourist was holding onto the train door while extending her body outside to capture the scenery. She was unaware of her surroundings when a tree branch struck her on the head, causing her to tumble out of the carriage. Local media reported that she landed in a bush, and police confirmed that she only suffered scratches. They have since advised tourists to be mindful of safety while traveling.

Posted • November 10, 2024: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says officers “acted within policy to protect themselves and nearby fans” in two altercations that were caught on camera during Saturday’s Georgia-Florida game at EverBank Stadium. Jacksonville Sheriff TK Waters released body-camera footage and details regarding two fights that resulted in viral videos from the rivalry game nicknamed “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.” In the videos officers could be seen striking fans. One video shows officers struggling with two spectators in the stands. Surrounding fans could be heard screaming at officers to stop. A second video shows an argument between a man and two JSO officers escalate into a fight that left the man with his face bloodied and handcuffed after being shot repeatedly with a stun gun. Neither video showed circumstances that led to the confrontations. “In the first incident, the suspect was asked multiple times to leave and threatened the officers attempting to remove him,” the sheriff’s office said after a review on Monday. “The suspect later grabbed one officer’s firearm. In the second incident, three suspects were asked to leave due to aggressive behavior toward other fans. They then became combative with officers, with one individual grabbing an officer’s face and holding onto his service belt.” Waters said that in the first incident the suspect had directed a racist slur at one of the officers, who is Black. He added that footage of the second incident appeared to have been cut to make it “intentionally misleading.” Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan called the videos “disturbing.” - “While the use of force can appear intense, our investigation determined that the officers in both incidents acted within policy to protect themselves and nearby fans,” the sheriff’s office said. The Georgia-Florida game is notorious for its rowdiness, and Waters said the crowd at the weekend was particularly fiery. “This was a different game,” Waters said. “They’re not always like this. We had a horse punched in the face.” He added that six officers were injured at the game, eight people were arrested, and 35 fans were ejected.

The saga started long before this season, though, with Reese always having a chip on her shoulder about the attention the former Iowa star receives. While Clark has chosen not to engage in the would-be feud, Reese, who now plays for the Chicago Sky, has acted like a petulant child at times. His routine about the Trump assassination attempt on July 13 is funny. It’s now over-the-top—it’s hilarious. Given the subject matter, some might not find it humorous, but I respect comedians who push the limits and go there since not all are successful or good at it. Yet, this one right here is pretty damn good. There was probably high anxiety in the room when he set up the joke. Posted • June 26, 2024: We recently told you about a German police officer who was stabbed to death by an Afghan migrant at a far-right "anti-Islam" event, at which he also stabbed five other people. This is a month after Germany announced it would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he set foot in the country. The far-right is at it again, and far-right activist Tommy Robinson, who's from Great Britain, was arrested Tuesday after giving an "anti-Islam speech." It's unclear exactly what the charges were, but newspapers say he was arrested on "suspicion of immigration offenses." Tommy Robinson, a British anti-Islam activist, was arrested in Canada after delivering a speech that received a standing ovation. Canada is Sharia compliant and he was probably arrested for Islamophobia. His other crime may have been meeting with Gaad Saad. Much like the UK, the police are being used to enforce Leftist political ideologies and censor/suppress those that oppose them. “I immediately got on the phone to Calgary’s leading criminal lawyer, who went straight to work. Step one was finding out where Tommy was taken. Step two was trying to get him released from custody, even if it meant agreeing to certain conditions. We didn’t want him to spend the night in jail. We tracked Tommy down to the main federal building in Calgary, where he was being questioned by immigration officials. That’s a laugh — I didn’t know that Canada ever stopped anyone from coming into the country, legal or not. Of course, Tommy isn’t a bogus refugee or someone just coming here to take advantage of taxpayer generosity — he was on a speaking tour. But that’s the problem: Tommy’s message of freedom of speech and opposition to mass migration could be the real reason he was arrested.” Do you think?
