1971 Fender Deluxe reverb demo

A Christmas ambush. An innocent walks into a guitar shop just for a wee wander and a Christmas chat and...
BOOM!
Evil guitar shop employees spring this on me.
I knew it would vanish immediately so pounced on it. This is a '71 Deluxe Reverb and as close to the sought after 1964-68 era of the blackface amps as you can get without it costing a fortune and the same amp as The Beatles used in the Let It Be sessions.
This one has had only one notable change: the mains transformer must have gone, so a Hammond has been installed by Time Travel Audio here in Leith and a rebuild carried out on it. It had one dead 6V6GT but a new pair are in and new pre-amp valves too, including a yellow print Mullard ECC83 and some JAN Philips 12AT7 for the reverb driver and the phase invertor.
It has the original speaker too!
I have written up all the details with nice pictures on my website page about it: gringopig.com/1971-fender-deluxe-reverb
Check it out!

I am using a PRS Silver Sky and a Les Paul to test it out. Tremolo and loads of Reverb included!
