Starting a ketogenic diet can be unnerving. One way to see if you are on track is to count macronutrients. There are three: Carbs, fats, and proteins. While Carbs are not required for life, some people can consume more than others. I recommend:
Carbs - 15% or less
Proteins - 40% or less
Fats - 45% or remaining

Being ketogenic is a way of life, not a diet. There is no end.
