Who Is Your Umpire?

Colossians 3:15-17 AMP “let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as an umpire continually) in your hearts (deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state) to which as members of Christ’s one body we were also called to live. And be thankful, appreciative giving praise to God always.”

Peace: a state of quiet or tranquility; freedom from disturbance or agitation; applicable to society, to individuals, or to the temper of the mind.

Soul: That part of man which enables him to think and reason (mind, will, emotions).

Harmony: Latin harmonia; a setting together, agreement,

Umpire: A third person called in to decide a controversy or question.

Psalm 94:19 “When my anxious thoughts multiply within me your consolations delight my soul!”

MAY THE PEACE OF CHRIST ALWAYS BE YOUR UMPIRE!
