British Police Visit Man Who Posted He Didn't Want To See Palestinian Flags In His Neighborhood

Posted • December 17, 2024: I don't travel much, so when I do, it's a big deal. My last big trip was a flight to London in July 2001 … this was before the TSA existed and the biggest concern was bringing mad cow disease into the United States. My wife and I were asked if we visited any rural areas. As I've said in a lot of VIP posts, I'd love to go back to London … or at least I think I do. My wife reminds me it's not the same city it was 23 years ago. And I should know better, the way I've covered Great Britain here on Twitchy. For one thing, freedom of speech, while never enshrined there as a right as it is here, seems to be in grave danger. Police can arrest you for praying silently across the street from an abortion clinic. Not holding a sign or a bullhorn, not saying a word … just praying silently. There are special "zones" around abortion clinics where silent prayer is not allowed, and the police will arrest you.

Back in August, I posted this video of a Brit shooting video of himself being arrested over a Facebook post. -- Police are now going around the UK arresting people on "Facebook Crimes." This Karen thinks a bloke's comments are "offensive" and "obscene." So now he has to go to JAIL over hurt feelings. Social credit scores are here. This man apparently claimed he found it disgusting that terrorist Palestinian flags were being flown in his neighborhood. Seriously, don't the police have better things to do?

I reported back in April that then-Scotland First Minister Humza Yousaf had overseen the country's hate speech law, which made it a crime to "criticize migrants." Not only are they passing these ridiculous laws — law enforcement is enforcing them. Just having a meme on your iPhone can be a criminal act for which you can be arrested. I guess they're trying to force people to love unchecked immigration from Muslim countries by not allowing them to criticize it. Second amendment starting to make sense to you Brits yet? London's got a knife-crime problem. As I reported, the U.K. police have put out handly disposal bins for any sharp objects you may have, and the cops are going into charity shops and confiscating any cutlery. They even confiscated a spoon. Seriously, have a look at the picture the police themselves posted and find the spoon.

The people who wrote it knew this kind of thing could happen. That place is so far gone it’s absolutely pathetic. I suppose if I were to travel back to London I'd have to scrub any conservative memes from my iPhone to make sure I wasn't arrested at the airport.
