Why use a gluten free flour blend? 🤔

Helen asked, "Why do you use a gluten free flour blend? I have read that sourdough negates the problem with gluten and flour. Is this true?"

Sourdough does partially break down gluten, but the gluten is not completely gone.

For some people, the gluten breaks down enough for them to keep having sourdough, but there are some people that still cannot have sourdough unless it is gluten free. It really depends on the person.

With my recent journey, if I have too much or a lot of gluten, what I find is that my throat swells up and then I can't breathe at night. Now I'm able to enjoy gluten-free food, without worrying about having too much.🙂

Thankfully, with Eat God's Way, we can easily make whole food substitutions in our cooking and baking to turn out gluten-free dishes... which are delicious and healthy! And you won't feel the lack. (I'm baking gluten-free cupcakes here.)
